If you like a clean roomy room and a place to eat, this is the Hotel for you with underground garage. We din't try their breakfast.

Set 400 metres from the sea front and the beach La Grande Plage in Biarritz, Au Bon Coin offers a bar, lift, terrace and free WiFi throughout. I was so blown away by the amazing hospitality I was shown here. The owner herself greeted me and gave me the low down on the local sites then walked me to my lovely, extremely comfortable room.

Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. Beautiful grounds and buildings, large and comfortable room, gorgeous modern bathroom, excellent service, convenient location. The bed was perfect. There is an excellent restaurant, as well as breakfast with many choices and helpful service. Staff told us about the conveniently located (and free) spotless laundry facilities, helpful after a week on the road. Wish we would have stayed longer at this hotel.

Confortable, large and clean family rooms, air conditioned, which was very useful during heat wave. The breakfast was also good quality, with local and home made products and at a reasonable price. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in due to its surroundings and it being a Château. The big surprise was dinner! Maite is the most amazing chef. We didn’t miss one dinner!
