Breakfast, dinner, cheese platter with our drinks upon arrival as we traveled the whole day, a perfect start of our stay. The staff was as friendly and helpful as always and when we had to book an extra night last minute we got the large family room which, although not the great views, you do get red robbins on your windowsill to wake you up which we loved. Hoping to come back again in September.

I loved everything about Cumbrian Lodge. The setting, the room, the hosts, the breakfast were all perfect. There’s loads of parking and the WiFi is excellent. Definitely recommended. I’ll be returning soon.

Da € 268 a notteAppartamento spazioso, luminoso e silenzioso. Parcheggio interno comodissimo (vista la difficoltà di trovare parcheggio per le strade della cittadina). Supermercato a 50 metri. La casa si trova di fronte ad un parco/campo sportivo dove i bambini hanno fatto partite interminabili. Con una splendida passeggiata di 15 minuti si può raggiungere il lago a piedi. Ottima posizione per visitare il Lake district.

L’hotel è davvero speciale: immerso nel verde del Lake District è a due passi dal lago e da diverse passeggiate. Ottimo il parcheggio in loco, staff gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Consigliatissimo anche il ristorante dell’hotel: ottima qualità e tante scelte vegetariane e vegane! Colazione super :) Speriamo di tornare presto!

Thank you to Daniel, who waited at reception and made me a sandwich when I arrived after midnight on the first night, delayed due to traffic. This set the tone for the entire stay. The breakfast was fabulous, as was dinner. The friendliness and genuine tone of the staff was heartwarming. Everything was spot on, everyone was welcoming, the service was outstanding. I recommend the Inn on The Lake to everyone! It is a home from home and I'll be back!
