Set within 500 metres of Megisti Port and 1 km of Cathedral of St. Constantine and St.Helen, To Pefko - Mezzanines - offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Meyisti. I stayed just 24 hours in Kastelorizo and was extremely grateful to have been able to stay in Alex and Agathe’s townhouses. The island itself is beautiful, and it’s matched by the townhouses themselves. The exteriors and interiors are all a fantastic mixture of brick, stone, concrete, and natural woods. The kitchen stone-top wouldn’t look out of place on Architectural Digest to be honest (I stayed in the middle house which has a slightly different layout and no balcony upstairs). Everything was spotless and new, and I’m sure you could enjoy longer stays in the house. The fact the house sits on the final row of houses means you look down into the harbour and don’t have any of the noise from the restaurants and cafes, though with many locals constructing and rebuilding their houses, you might want earplugs if that kind of thing bothers you in the morning. The location starts/ends right by a walking path and is close by to the museum, church, and the amazing restaurant Ta Platania. Not that the town is big by any stretch or that you need to walk very far to get anywhere - you can take the shortcut through the alleyways and steps to Alex’s fantastic bakery within 1 minute and get yourself a coffee at Meltemi’s café after a few steps further. Alex and Agathe also deserve some credit for being warm people who make you feel welcome and at ease, without any of the “fake” hospitality that typical hotel staff provide. Agathe also left a sample bag of delightful biscuits from Alex’s bakery in the room (which I finished off pretty quickly). She also helped store my bags after check-out and was punctual for check-in and bag check-out which was appreciated. Alex also dropped me off at the ferry terminal in his bakery van, which isn’t necessary due to distance or difficulty, but simply a kind and appreciated gesture.

Gorgeously laid out apt with extra bed if needed. for a short stay I had all of the equipment and facilities I needed.

Built according to the local architecture, the seafront Agnanti Studios is located in Megisti, within 500 metres from taverns. Haha, I would like to say, do not book this hotel, so we can find a room. :) A great spot to detox. Tranquil, and friendly. If you stay here please whisper.

Housed in 2 neoclassical buildings and just 30 metres from the beach, the seafront Poseidon Hotel is 300 metres from the main port in Kastelorizo. Beautiful place, nicely decorated, clean, with plenty of light. Perfect location and friendly staff.

Situated in Meyisti, 1.5 km from Cathedral of St. Constantine and St.Helen and 1.5 km from Archaeological Museum of Megisti, Studio in the Aegean offers air conditioning. Very well-decorated, cozy studio. You may find ever thing you need. Highly recommended.

Situated in Meyisti and only 400 metres from Megisti Port, Blue Horizon Kastellorizo features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is a beautiful house, newly restored in an elegant traditional style. Having visited 30+ Greek islands, this is one of the nicest places we ever stayed. The house is over three floors. Entry is through a walled courtyard with dining table. On the middle floor is an open-plan kitchen, another dining table, and spacious living room with wide-screen TV (Netflix, Youtube, etc.) and full WC/shower room. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, including an electric juicer! This floor also includes a full-width balcony with dramatic views over the harbour and the mountains of Turkey. On the top floor is a double bedroom. On the lower floor, three bedrooms, two doubles and a single, and another WC/shower room. One bedroom opens onto a large terrace with sun-beds, table/chairs and many plants, again with wonderful views. Two nice features of the house are many original art works, and hi-tech double-glazed windows with screens. Every room has A/C. The host is very nice, spoiling us with fresh eggs, fruit and homemade goat's cheese, all from her farm.
