Just a heads-up, due to the location, the internet might drop during storms, but that's a small price to pay for the beauty and peace you get here. Overall, Vogelkopf Resort is an excellent choice for an stress-free vacation with a bit of adventure and a lot of natural beauty."

The house reef, you can spend hours there , just be carfull with current. The clarity of the water.The owner or Pol will organize all the excursions, very professionals. You can walk trough the jungle and get to another amazing Dive/ snorkeling spot called Sauwandarek, great jetty and wall. The room are basic but very clean, confortable matress and pillows. They do your room daily. Right on the water,the best sunset view directly from your room. The shared bathrooms are clean 3 times per day , there is a pipe used as shower and a bucket for the toilet flush. The food is very good and it served a buffet in the nice restaurant overlooking the ocean...big tables so easy to make friends. If you have allergy they will accomodate you, I am gluten free and the lady will cook separetly for me.The house dogs, I love it! I regret for ever to went to another island , I should have spent all my nights there! This property is under rated...it is very nice and have great prices.

I wish I had words to describe this place, this accommodation, the people we found and met here! But I don't know if I will succeed, because, without a doubt, it was the most beautiful place where we have been in our entire life so far, as experienced travelers!What I felt when I arrived here cannot be described in words - I can try to say that I found Paradise on Earth!A small island, four bungalows, two on the beach, two on the water, dream views, the music of the ocean and the orchestra of jungle birds, underwater creatures of all shapes and colors right under the bungalows, a rich, fresh, young, clean reef, toilets and private shower, perfectly balanced food, fresh, unrepeatable, tasty, electric cleaner all the time provided by solar panels, wi-fi, and above all a team of wonderful people!The owner, Mr. Andy, loves this place and it shows in every thing he touches, in all the stories he tells you (if you ask him!). An extremely pleasant company, the silent partner of the team! The soul and heart of this place is Moana=Vayana, as I called it the first moment I saw it! She is Miss Esny, as I call her or Mantaray;s Queen (no one feels them and finds how she does it). With sea views, TABARI DIVE LODGE is located in Pulau Mansuar and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and grill. Free WiFi is provided. Tabari Dive Lodge is exceptional. Not only is the location breath taking, the snorkeling, straight in front of the lodge, outstanding, the food plentiful and very tasty, the sunsets mesmerizing and the bungalows authentic, quaint and private with hammocks and deck chairs to laze about on while soaking up the turquoise water and white, white sand, it is the owners Brigette and Jeff who really make this place special. They are so very passionate about the biodiversity of the area and go out of their way to make sure you can engage with it in a way that allows you to get the most from your experience. They truly care about the wellbeing of all their guests and Brigette make a mean cocktail while Jeff exudes excitement for every dive! Daily dive trips are arranged to a vast range of locations, many of which are excellent for snorkelers so don't worry of you are not a diver, I am not and had some unique experiences seeing a vast array of marine life I have never seen before. The lodge itself has resident black reef sharks- they talk about them as though they are pets and although I am desperately afraid of them, by the end of the holiday I was enthusiastic to see them while snorkeling and I did to my delight. There is also a number of turtles, vast living coral, fans, squirts and clearly tropical fish but most importantly they have a resident Dugong. These beautiful mammals are highly endangered and it is a very special experience to swim along side these graceful and gentle animals- we were so blessed to have this experience twice. Late afternoon is the best time to have an encounter with the Dugong. I actually think there are two as the first we saw seemed bigger and they do mate for life but are quite a solitary animal.. At low tide there is a beautiful deep swimming hole directly across the island accessible by a short walk through the coconut trees. It is 2-3 meters in depth and very refreshing.

Turtle was our best homestay on entire vacation. Hut is so nice and food is amazing. People where very kind. They have a kus kus who comes for bananas in the night that was the best thing ever ! That small bear is so cuuuuuutee !

Great location with ocean view from the terrace. Pedro (and his family) is a friendly host and try to do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast and diner are included. Simple but good. It´s a bit far from the city but we liked to be between the local people who are so friendly as well. On the terrace you have books about Raja Ampat and even binoculars so you can watch the birds. Ask Pedro to rent a motorbike and explore this island as well before you go to one of the other island for your (probably) dive or snorkel experiences. This island is more than just a transfer stop for one day.

That reef that you see in the picture has the most amazing corals and sea life. It's perfect for snorkeling or just swimming. Paulus is a wonderful host, very proud of the beauty of the islands where he lives, and he will take you on an amazing trip to enjoy this paradise. He's very into nudibranches and little ocean creatures. He has few books about the ocean life in the dining room to enjoy. Regarding the bungalows, they are comfortable, with their own bathroom and a table to prepare your morning tea or coffee. They will bring you the rest of your breakfast. Lunch and dinner are really good! The atmosphere amongst the people who stay in the bungalows is nice and friendly. We all shared great times together, even though we met for one or 2 days. And the highlight of the accommodation is Paula, the cure cuscus who loves bananas. I'm so happy about choose this place to stay. I'll be happy to come back in the future!

Nice family with really good cooking skills! Clean room and clean bathroom/toilet! Would definitely come again to that place!

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. With direct access to a balcony, the vacation home consists of 1 bedroom. The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.

They are very attentive, friendly, caring and cook the most incredible food. The meals are all inclusive, healthy and full of variety. They also do some activities like snorkeling which can be done at the homestay, we saw plenty fish and a couple sharks too. The facilities are perfect, simple, clean and all you need. We loved the family very much, Alvar speaks great English and is the son of the owner Louis. They are always happy and the boys, especially Adrian, are amazing fun. They have a simple yet amazing homestay. If you're looking for authentic papuan experience, for a fraction of the cost and all the safety and love combined this is the place to stay. Local dive sites/centres are a short boat ride away (15mins Tarzan diving/papua explorers). Overall this is a great homestay with lots of potential.
