Slept well, good hot shower. Helpful, friendly staff. The go-to spot for airport stay in Guwahati for me and my friends.

The hotel’s staff (Govin) is very kind, he even picked me up from the bus stop which I did not expect! And he took me around the area after check-in, showing me the villages and tea gardens before dropping me at the Orchid park. Food was good and affordable. Room is clean with comfortable bed and air conditioning. It’s quiet (was refreshing to be able to sleep without earplugs), location is serene and within walking distance to local market and bus stop, as well as a short 5 minute drive from the Central safari zone.

Guwahati is a major commercial center and the capital of Assam. The downtown areas are crowded and bustling. I hired a car with driver for a day to visit half a dozen temples and other historic and religious sites within the city (on the south side of the Brahmaputra River) and in rural areas north of river. The trip was enjoyable, inexpensive, and very worthwhile.

You have the option to have a delicious Assamese home cooked meal in the evenings and I also rented a bike to explore for the day. It is peaceful and has a beautiful garden. Very friendly staff, the hotel is quite new and comfortable. Everything went very well, even with our 3 kids. Only little issue is that the hot water wasn't working in the showers, but they provided buckets of warm water on demand and very swiftly. Breakfast was nice as well! Breakfast was excellent. With so many choices on the menu, my kids had no problem. Wish the location was in a bit less crowded place. But once you are in the hotel, it does not matter. All in all, had a very pleasant stay. Staffs were very nice.
