Just 50 metres from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 200 metres from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees. Salina is a wonderful island and this was the perfect base to explore it from (very convenient to get to from the port after arriving by ferry). We loved the elegant and eclectic style of the hotel (particularly the restored tiles) and having breakfast in the garden. We also had a meal at the restaurant downstairs and would highly recommend it.

Located in a quiet area. Hotel Borgo Eolie is 500 metres from Lipari’s historic centre. Featuring traditional Aeolian architecture, it offers free parking and an outdoor pool with hydro-massage. A very nice stay in Lipari, with a helpful hotel and friendly staff. Apart of a providing a relaxing atmosphere and all necessary info, I appreciated that they have sent a minibus when we arrived with our ferry to the port and had continuous shuttle services to the center and port. Excellent breakfast and very clean rooms. A quiet place, far from the busy center, although close enough to main attractions. Highly recommended.

Featuring Aeolian-style architecture, Hotel Mamma Santina is set in several houses with terrace, balcony or patio. The view is amazing, location is close to everything and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Eleonora, the manager, arranged a pick-up for us from the port. She also booked us a day tour to Panarea and Stromboli. On our departure date, she offered to open breakfast early for us or even pack up a to go box for us which was incredibly thoughtful. Loved everything ❤️
