The charming sisters Alicia, the chef, and Nathalie, the hotelier, as well their parents are committed to an idea of hospitality that is so genuine and rare these days, evident in their attentiveness, cordiality, and cheerfulness as well as in the spotless rooms, the well-trained staff, and in their willingness to help plan a memorable stay in the Aosta Valley. Such is their genuine kindness and good humor that when we departed we felt as if we were more than guests and were saying goodbye to beloved family members. We had thought of staying at a large hotel in Courmayeur with a spa and I believe a Michelin star, but we were all so happy with our choice, knowing that what we received was a unique experience, a treasured, star-studded highlight of our trip to Italy.

The breakfast staff are wonderful, they and Hotel Chacaril provide fresh fruit & meusli & homemade cakes & fresh croissants & waffles and many other breakfast foods with coffee and drinks made to the guests liking. Excellent!

Le Charaban ligger vid vägen SS27, 2 km norr om Aosta och bara 10 minuters bilresa från skidområdet Pilas linbana. I have stayed in this hotel before. It is a lovely, comfortable family run hotel. Both the owner and staff were most welcoming and friendly which made our stay very enjoyable. We had a superb, quality meal in the evening with some fine wine (and grappa). Breakfast was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as a place to stay......I certainly plan to vist again the future.

Set in the historic centre of Aosta, Hotel Duca d’Aosta offers accommodation with free WiFi, just 1 km from the Pila cable car. Very kind staff who were patient enough to let us try some basic Italian and skilled enough to switch to other languages (dankeschön). We were provided a wonderful room with view on the square. The parking space nearby was spacious (except for the narrow entrance which could be awkward for some as reported in other comments). The town is very cosy and lively and the setting in the valley is beautiful.
