Breakfast was amazing, dinner was amazing, the staff and owners made you feel so welcome! It was the best ski trip/family vacation we've ever had!

Located just a 5-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, Hakuba Alpine Hotel features simple rooms and outdoor hot spring baths. It is just a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Great location. Near to lawson and local eating places. Located beside the main road so traveling was a breeze especially since we were driving. I enjoyed the onside onsen as well. Definitely will return! The rooms were clean and spacious.

Featuring a hot tub, massage treatments and tennis courts, Hotel La Neige offers rooms with a balcony and nature views. It provides a free shuttle service and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful hotel decorated in French style with great customer service. We were driven to and from the Gondola at Happo One every day and our skis and boots were always waiting for us. The staff were friendly and helpful and good restaurants were within walking distance. The breakfast was filling with a good range of options and our suite had a large spa bath that was great to enjoy every afternoon after skiing.

The staff at House of Finn Juhl were amazing! I booked these rooms for my family trip, Yuka helped me plan dinners for our large group before we arrived and then upon arrival was even more amazing. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was beautiful. They helped arrange our Takyubin to the next location for our luggage. They provided amazing snacks and great breakfasts, it was wonderful!

We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) and it was the perfect size, plus handy to have 3 bathrooms for the number of people staying in the apartment. Stephen & his wife were helpful with booking restaurants, giving us advice about Hakuba ski resorts and arranging our luggage transfer to Tokyo. We joined in the pizza night at their Lodge which was really nice and looked to also be a lovely place to stay.

The Bohemians’ Shelter is the best hostel in Hakuba. The facilities are new and clean. Gaspard is an amazing host that will help you to enjoy Hakuba ski resort. Great spot for a solo traveller to relax before conquering a mountain the next day. English-speaking workers who greeted me with kindness and nice conversations. Also provided recommendations for places nearby to eat and a possibility for a Tsugaike ropeway discount. FYI, it is only a few mins away from the bus terminal which is great too. Onsen was small (can fit maybe 4-5 folks?) but it wasn’t busy at all when I went! I was allowed to go in with a tattoo as it’s a “less busy” time, so it should be ok. I added breakfast with my reservation which was also great (though there was a huge pot of rice that one person can definitely NOT finish!) I also got to leave a bag with them for a night as I went and hiked for a night in the mountain & didn’t want to lug all my stuff. All in all, a fantastic stay - thank you for everything!

Comfy breakfast and ski in sky out resort, perfect for you to quickly get to the chair lift/gondola without carrying the heavy ski or board gears on the road.
