I called from the bus station at 6:00 in the morning, asked for a pickup and after 20 minutes I was picked up by an 4WD car. I got my room at 7:00 AM in without extra charge. Delicious breakfasts, amazing view from the restaurant and pool. Nature, peace, rest, a tropical garden and a manager who helped me with planning local trips. I highly recommend. The set up of the place in a nice garden well maintained the great pool. The general atmosphere and the dining place with nice furniture.

This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!

Bahçe manzaralı Tribal Village Homestay & Trekking, Yeak Laom Gölü'ne yaklaşık 8,6 km uzaklıkta teraslı konaklama birimleri sunmaktadır. If I could give Tribal Village Homestay 11 out of 10, I would. Delightful ensuite bungalows in exquisite gardens, excellent food available all day & evening in the charming restaurant/bar. Smey (the host) has excellent English, is a mine of information and he and his lovely family went above & beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, being attentive without being intrusive, and unfailingly good-natured. I was privileged to engage with his students at his free school (I volunteered), which was winderful as well as fun. Many day trips on Smey's motorbike (I don't drive) tailored to my interests (history, Tribal art & culture, nature & wildlife) both on and way off the beaten track ensured that I leave - very reluctantly- with a host of memories of once in a lifetime experiences. All homestays should be this good!

The setting is very serene and tranquil. There are many citrus and banana plants surrounding the property, creating a fresh and rejuvenating ambiance for a potent sense of spiritual detoxification.

Very nice owners and family, they make you feel welcome. The optional shared dinner is really tasty and a nice way to get to know the family and other guests. Basic facilities but a very good value for the price. Also could rent a scooter for a day. Thank you!

Mr T and his family and friends are so kind and welcoming! This local stay was amazing to experience some of the Cambodian culture. Everything was perfect, it’s the place to be in Ratanakiri! Thank you again for this great stay and I hope to come back one day!

Yeak Laom Gölü'ne yaklaşık 4,2 km uzaklıkta yer alan dağ manzaralı Green Hill Homestay, Restaurant & Treķking verandalı bir konaklama birimi sunmaktadır. Lovely hosts - they kept in touch with me on the day of my arrival and offered to pick me up from the bus station. The property is situated a bit outside the central town area, which gives it a really tranquil and peaceful countryside atmosphere without being too far away from amenities. Depending on the weather the lake and shops are walkable but you'd be wise to consider renting a moto (the owner offers tuktuk rides as well). You can enjoy a spacious deck/terrace overlooking the forested hills around the Boeng Yeak Lake. Rooms are simple, modest but clean and with all the essentials you'd want - a comfy bed, mozzie net, a fan and an outlet close to the bed. Hosts speak English and the lady managing the property is a good cook - you can enjoy a range of dishes, including vegetarian options and fresh local fruit without having to go anywhere. All at reasonable prices. Moto rental, various trekking or even bus transfer options can be arranged as well. All in all really enjoyed my stay.
