The restaurant area was beautiful with good food, overlooking the Mekong and a lovely garden area. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed. We hired a motorbike to go to Wat Phou and got a ferry from the hotel’s jetty across the river to catch the Green paradise bus to Si Phan Don. The staff were superbly helpful.

Bontai Resort, Don Khon tem um jardim, terraço, um restaurante e bar em Ban Khon. Os quartos com ar condicionado providenciam vista do lago, roupeiro e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Everything was perfect. We felt welcomed by the staff and everyone was genuinely kind and friendly. The wife of the owner is cooking absolutely amazing and we ate there every day. Free bike to ride around the island.

A cozy guest house run by the sweetest and most genuine family. They were able to arrange many things for us as well, like motorbike rentals, breakfast, and transportation. They were also very happy to give tips on where to go and what to do. I was even invited to join their family and friends for Laotian hot pot one evening. This was an experience you can’t even pay for. Their hospitality and concern for guests goes above and beyond.

Perfect location of the hotel at the main road in the city. It is very close to the central Pakse market and in a walking distance from the new supermarket. I really liked the size of my room. Everything was nicely clean and spacius. Also there was no noice or any other distractions. We even had a lounge area with a large sofa to sit on. Bathroom is also large. I enjoyed a walk-in shower with strong shower head - something that is still not a standard in SE Asia. I also liked the services that the front desk provided and their friendliness. They organised a motorbike rental and they took us to the bus station when we were leaving. Accepting credit cards was like a cherry on top!

Staff was very helpful and professional. The room was very clean and had all the amenities. I swim and the pool was very nice. They have a wonderful breakfast and there are restaurants close by for dinner and lunch.

Bom atendimento. A localização é boa, mas pode ser interessante saber que não está no centro onde tem mais opções de restaurantes e serviços. Por outro lado, está próxima da ponte nipo-lao (para ir ao templo que tem a grande imagem de Buda e visão panorâmica de toda cidade), está cerca de 600m de um night market que nós gostamos muito e 700m de um shopping pequeno, mas que tem uma excelente academia e algumas opções de restaurantes e barracas, inclusive na parte externa. Além disso, transporte de tuk é bem tranquilo e com preço razoável para o centro. Recomendo.

Don Khone is the place to be, if you're trying to decide. we almost stayed in Don Det, and I am so glad I spent a bit extra and came here. The village is lovely, the whole island is really nice to bike around, and Sala Done Khone is lovely. The AC works very well, the floating studios are lovely, and the breakfast is great and large. The other meals are also good at the restaurant, or there are plenty of options close by. They provide everything you need and the beds are super comfy! Thanks very much for a lovely stay. We didn't want to leave.
