Situated in Pottuvil and with Whiskey Point reachable within 30 metres, Whisky Point Resortfeatures a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a garden. What a place! The scenery is amazing, huts on the beach are so relaxing. But really the staff is what makes the resort special, they are super sweet and helpful. Had a great time and there are some good surf spots nearby, but without being in the bustle of A Bay. Would highly recommend, especially for couples and small groups that would prefer a more relaxed experience on this coast. Definitely will go back

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Garden beach hotel is situated in Arugam bay. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. I had a very nice stay at the Garden Beach Hotel. The rooms are good value for money, the breakfast is good (I usually had the avocado toast with fried egg) and the owner is super nice (he even helped me organize a night-bus reservation to Colombo and let me shower at the accommodation before getting on the bus).

It was May and quiet. the ocean view, porch and water were all awesome. It’s a quick walk to the main break and gorgeous scenery. A nice little cabana with good space and a great drying rack on the front porch.

Situated in Arugam Bay, 200 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Chimaca Bay Hotel offers air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. The staff, especially Rauff, was exceptional. It’s so rare to get such a personal overall service at every stage of the stay. Rauff helped us with renting surfboards, tuktuks, lessons, meals, EVERYTHING, in a very professional and helpful manner. Totally exceptional and mindblowing professionalism. On top, he and all the other staff were super friendly!
