Situated in Pottuvil and with Whiskey Point reachable within 30 metres, Whisky Point Resortfeatures a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a garden. What a place! The scenery is amazing, huts on the beach are so relaxing. But really the staff is what makes the resort special, they are super sweet and helpful. Had a great time and there are some good surf spots nearby, but without being in the bustle of A Bay. Would highly recommend, especially for couples and small groups that would prefer a more relaxed experience on this coast. Definitely will go back

The rooms are good value for money, the breakfast is good (I usually had the avocado toast with fried egg) and the owner is super nice (he even helped me organize a night-bus reservation to Colombo and let me shower at the accommodation before getting on the bus).

It’s so rare to get such a personal overall service at every stage of the stay. Rauff helped us with renting surfboards, tuktuks, lessons, meals, EVERYTHING, in a very professional and helpful manner. Totally exceptional and mindblowing professionalism. On top, he and all the other staff were super friendly!
