Rakennus missä hotelli sijaitsee ei vaikuta ulkoa kovin viihtyisältä, mutta kun pääset ovesta sisään, niin vaikutelma muuttuu täysin. Kota Kinabalu paranee päivä päivältä oleskelun pidentyessä. Kaupungissa on hyvät ravintolat, paljon ostosmahdollisuuksia, joitakin nähtävyyksiä ja varsinkin Tunku Abdul Rahman -merikansallispuisto. Palvelut ja liikenneyhteydet muualle Sabahin alueelle toimivat loistavasti. Hintataso on edullinen.
