The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

With sea views from every room, Lüderitz Nest Hotel features a private tidal beach and jetty, as well as an outdoor pool. A sauna, restaurant terrace and bar all overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Great staff, very clean rooms and fantastic service in the restaurant

Located in Keetmanshoop, Kitchen51 Cottages provides barbecue facilities. Featuring a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The Host Petro was absolutely fantastic and made us feel right at home. Accomodation was superb, very comfortable, neat and clean, great beds. Highly recommend it, wish we had stayed longer.

Also gracious host that was helpful and chill.
