The more expensive hotels of the city centre of Alta surely succumb to the fine details, satisfying landscape view and excellent standard of this one! Ten rooms (I believe), two nice lounges and varied options at breakfast!

Super nice people. The facilities are beautiful and everything is well thought and very well organized. Both the snow hotel and cottages are cute and well maintained. And the Aurora is simply breathtaking!!

Situated 20 km from Alta’s town centre, along the Alta River, is this special igloo hotel. The hotel was spectacular. We had the chance to view all the suites and they were all incredible. If you can splurge on the suite…do it! The art in the hotel is just incredibly creative and beautiful. All around in incredible!!

Tento hotel v centre obce Kirkenes leží na brehu fjordu Varanger, 900 metrov od prístavu trajektov Hurtigruten. Ponúka dobré jedlo a bezplatné Wi-Fi pripojenie. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Europe. Extraordinary breakfast buffet with varieties, free coffee and tea throughout the day. Very nice and helpful staff. It is almost at the front of the sea and can be viewed the northern lights easily. From the breakfast area, there is very impressive panoramic view to Fjords and sea. From the hotel bed room you may request for ocean view, which is recommended. There is a kettle and tea in each room. Room was very clean. The restaurant in the Thon Hotel is very good. They serve vegetables, fresh fish/crabs and meat! The sightseeing tour bus stops here in front of Thon Hotel. I will come back again. I recommend everybody to try this hotel for a visit!
