Located 5 minutes' drive from Tolovana Beach State park, this Cannon Beach property provides free Wi-Fi and breakfast. A refrigerator and a microwave are included in rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Cannon Beach, and we will definitely stay here again! The reception staff were very friendly and informative and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and there were several options for pillow softness/firmness. Our suite was well stocked with towels and amenities and had a small sink, microwave and fridge. The location of the inn is approximately one block from the public access to Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock is an approximate 10 minute walk away. The fresh baked cookies in the lobby and continental breakfast were an added bonus each day!

It's a view that truly enhances the overall experience of staying at the Ocean House. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. In conclusion, I can't recommend the Ocean House hotel enough. It's a hidden gem that offers a unique combination of proximity to the ocean, delicious breakfasts, tranquility, and breathtaking ocean views. If you're looking for a perfect getaway, this is the place to be.

The big advantage with this city is that it has good local traffic and you can conveniently get around and don´t need a car. There are beautiful gardens, a Japanese and a Rose Garden just outside the city as well as a Chinese Garden within the city. We enjoyed very much the Art Museum and the Historical Society Museum with very interesting exhibitions about the history of Oregon and much about Indian culture and art. The cable car is a nice experience and you can spend lots of time in the big Powell´s bookshop with both new and second hand books. What is not so nice in this city is that the number of homeless persons is really very high and makes you sad.

Portlands centrum är ganska litet, det är gångavstånd till mycket. Staden känns genuin och det finns en hel del fina gamla byggnader bevarade. Bra shopping på flera av de stora amerikanska varuhusen som finns i centrum, det är ingen "sales tax" i Oregon vilket gör shoppingen extra prisvärd. Bra utbud av pubar och restauranger. Lunch på "Red Star Tavern" kan rekommenderas.
