The hosts went above and beyond from arrival to departure. Liza-Marie gave us a choice of rooms and was worried that we might not want guests next to us. I wasn't sure if I had ordered breakfast but she brought a lovely basket with yoghurt and muesli and scones every day. I needed to do some washing as we had been travelling for 2 weeks and had had no opportunity to use a washing machine. She and the cleaning lady just did it for us and we came back to our clean clothes. We ran out of wine one evening and the shops were closed, they just popped home and got us a bottle. The house is old but really well cared for and beautifully restored with homely touches in the bedroom and bathroom. The gardens are well tended and it was lovely to sit on the balcony in the shade. A lovely place to stay.
