I would highly recommend you stay in for the dinner. We used the golf facility as well and I must say it was the best 9 hole golf course I've ever played.

Situated in Nottingham Road, 13 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club, Fordoun Hotel and Spa features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. We went for a family wedding and most of the wedding party stayed in Fordoun's various accommodations (the self catering, the hotel rooms and the extra special rooms 19 - 23). The setting is very special - converted stone farm sheds, several dams, huge trees that actually do autumn. Staff were incredibly friendly and flexible eg staying up after 11 to give us hot chocolate in front of the fire. As a wedding venue it is ideal - we had a serious cricket match at the proper pitch in front of the reception hall, a great way to bring a large group together the day before the wedding. The chapel had views onto the mountains. A very lovely space to walk around day or night.

The place was amazing! The staff was super! Food superb especially breakfast! The linen, wanted to sleep forever. The brewery!!!

Situated within 12 km from Mooi River, surrounded by meadows, Midlands Saddle and Trout offers an array of activities from fishing, mini golf and horse riding. The rooms were really nice and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

What a fantastic place to stay over. Love the old world pub still as good as years ago when we visited. Cosy atmosphere with locals and guests relaxing over a beer !! Rooms refurbished very nicely. Grounds excellent. Most of all - the staff are fantastic very friendly welcoming and helpful. Particularly Debbie, Happy and Tyrone. They went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable even though having to look after our little puppy over meals. Reception was quick and fast and the room was ready even though we were early !! Dog-friendly a big bonus. Will definitely stay there again soon.
