Offering a year-round outdoor pool and views of the lake, Sommerville Valley Tourist Park & Resort is situated in Stanthorpe in the Granite Belt, Queensland
The accommodation has an open plan dining and lounge area with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cook top, oven and microwave, dishwasher, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. There is a private balcony with outside dining and a BBQ area. Every unit comes with its own private bathroom with a spa bath and free toiletries.

The cabins are some of the cleanest accommodation I've ever stayed in. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here but the first time in years. I love that is it has bath, fireplace, full kitchen and view. You don't get that easily for a good price in Stanthorpe. Pippa surprised us with champagne because it was our honeymoon.

Renae had left enough firewood for us for the two nights we enjoyed the luxury of a real wood burning fire, and the pantry and fridge held basic food accompaniments and some lovely local apples. The property is located within walking distance to the township. All in a 10 out of 10 experience.

The beds were soft and have been the only comfortable beds I've ever slept in while staying away. Having fire wood and kindling ready for the fire place was what make this place a home. Looking around the resort is interesting and enjoyable for families as a whole. We are going to differently stay again next year !!
