We're a family of 4 adults who stayed at Sheikh Ali resort for 6 nights, end Jan to 6th Feb 2022. The rooms are brilliant, the pool and surrounding area are fantastic, there's a fire pit, Bedouin tent, massage centre and dive centre all on site. The location is fantastic, the hotel is really quiet however via the back gate it's a 60 second walk to the main street in Dahab, to the start of the market area. The staff are amazing, they sorted out personalised trips for us with great guides and were always on hand to help. A special shout out to Sharif who was so so helpful. The dive centre is run by really professional Germans who organised a bespoke dive for the 2 younger individuals in our party. Oh - and the breakfasts, especially the french toast are to die for. It's amazingly good value.

All rooms feature touches of traditional architecture including ornate furniture and arched doorways. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a private balcony, some of which overlook the ocean.

Abdul on the desk is one of the most helpful and chilled out managers ever. I had decided to book a couple of extra nights and we did it simply over the phone. He also arranged a completely impromptu trip for a small group of us, and it went perfectly and was not at all expensive. I will probably return to Egypt in the spring and this is one of the places I will visit again. Also Abdul arranged a big table and chair in my room as I am a writer and asked him.
