Staff were amazing, very kind and accommodating. The snorkeling trip to Gillis was great and they collect you from our front, 10 mins to first stop. Only 3 rooms and we booked 2 so felt like it was just us.

The hosts Michael and his wife Liah and their staff where great. They made me feel like part of the family as soon as I arrived. It's also the best place on the island to have a reasonably priced drink in the evening and watch the sunset, I don't believe you can do that from any other resort on the Island? Also they are very helpful in booking local Island trips and onward travel. Whilst there, work on a the new Sunset bar and hostel commenced so I look forward to returning to enjoy them in the future. I'm also looking forward to hiring their new kayaks they have on order to do independent tours of the nearby Gilis/Islands, that will be amazing! 😎

That's all great, but the best thing about the resort is its staff, the manager Abdurrahman, the chef in the restaurant and everyone else did their best to make us feel good here. They even cooked food for us even when the chef wasn't present. You can rent a scooter and go on trips around the area, or just relax. Their staff are friendly, breakfast is good and the sea beach and the mountains from the resort are very beautiful. Boat and car trips can be organised from the reception although the coral directly in front of the restaurant is full of life, hundreds of different fish and even turtles. Free kayaks, volleyball, badminton and a pool table gave us lots of options for action interspersed with relaxation in the bean bags and lounges. In general an atmosphere of simple luxury!
