My experience at @sametnangshe.boutique was truly indulgent. From the moment I arrived in the lobby I was treated like a queen. The staff was exceptional, the views are extraordinary and hotel experience was truly unique. As I was sitting at dinner on my first night, I was so overcome with joy tears just started rolling down my face. Being at this hotel is a dream come true. I remember discovering this place on Pinterest years ago. I told myself “I will stay there some day”. I had high hopes that this place would be stunning, but I could never imagine how astonishing it would be until I arrived. The best part is that it only got better as the night rolled into morning. I woke up before the sun and drew a hot bath. I used the Himalayan Sea Salts they provided, and wrapped myself in the cozy bathrobe they had hanging in my closet. At first light, I hopped in the tub to soak and watched the sun peak over the limestone mountains scattered in Phang Nga Bay. Moment by moment the sky turned from deep black to dark blue with hints of copper and magenta. I sat and watched from the bath until the whole sky was glowing with hues of rose and orange. Surely this was the most spectacular sunrise I have had the opportunity to witness in my 35 years of existence. Then, I proceeded to do absolutely nothing for an entire day and it was glorious. This was the rest and relaxation I so desperately needed. I lounged by the pool soaking up every sun ray that the Thailand sky wanted to give away. I welcomed the Vitamin D onto my skin with open arms, rotating from the lounge chair to the pool to cool off every so often. At some point I was served fresh fruit and citrus infused water; it was the perfect icing on the cake of a perfect day. I will never forget my experience at Samet Nangshe Boutique Resort. I’m filled with gratitude for this experience and for the people that made this experience unforgettable.

Mike’s place is a wonderful secluded fishing paradise. Not really being a fisherman, I chose it to explore the region with a car. From there it’s easy to do day trips around the whole area, including west coast, Krabi, Phang Nga Bay, Khao Sok, etc. Sure I tried fishing and we got a huge relic fish whose origins are traced back over 100 million years ago. The property itself is well maintained which is rare in Thailand. Mike the owner is very positive and welcoming. He puts a lot of heart and efforts into the place and one can feel it when staying there. Hope to be back one day.

Very nice and quiet place down the wonderful green hills in the nature. The owner is very friendly and helpfull, speaking very well english. Possibility to use some bikes for free.

It’s always pleasure to stay there. The view is picturesque, the villa is comfortable, the staff is friendly and kind, the dishes at the restaurant is tasty and arroi mak-mak. Our daughter is very happy about this place as well and she had a cozy crib brought by the staff. Gonna visit it again soon.
