It was a nice resort with lots of things to do ON the property. There's a walking trail behind the tennis court. Basketball nets, squash courts, pool and a fitness room. Although it's the farthest from the town it's nice if you want piece and quiet and a good spot to walk your dog.
Close to ski resort
If you are traveling and plan to stay in Banff National Park, there are several "high end" Hotels / Resorts. The Rim Rock is one of them. It is near the Banff Gondola and Hot Springs and convenient to the Bus that runs every 20 minutes or so to the center of Banff. The Views are incredible and the amenities are super. Not the cheapest place, but one of the best. Highly recommended for that "special" trip ... great in Winter as well as Summer.
The resort was lovely, our room was clean and such a nice set up. The staff were amazing and so friendly. We got the shuttle into town which was awesome.
Absolutely beautiful. This place took me back to the resorts I stayed in.
Comfy bed and pillows, quality furnitures and appliances. We love the location, close to town, hiking areas and snow resorts. Bathroom has nice fixtures including the shower. Loft is perfect for family of five. Great customer service, thanks Bryan for helping us set up the wood-burning fireplace. And appreciate the small treat and toy from Front Desk for our fur baby.
The ski resort style, design and decor
We booked a room with “limited view” on bookings.com. In a resort town like Banff, limited view means there is a view of scenery however limited. Our room is half underground and half above ground with a window to an alley in the back of the hotel. We had to draw the blind all the time because the room is so dark we need to turn on the light. And to protect our privacy we had to close the blind. So “limited view” is a complete misdescription of the room. There is no view. Period. So no we do not like the property.
Awesome rustic cabins, clean, lots of room, cutest kitchen with all supplies. Nice deck with a beautiful view, saw some deer in the field. Great location. This is not a luxury resort but still nice, we loved our cabin and will be back.
