To us this was an outstanding experience: we had a spacious room facing a beautiful garden which was visited by chipmunks and various bird species as well as a swimming lake (including sun set view). For the lake, the resort offered free to use SUPs, canoes, kajacs etc. and safety gear. After hikes into the close by Algonquin national park, the resort and lake was the perfect cool down location. The owners were extremely forthcoming, even though they suffered from lack of service staff - consequently we only once could use their breakfast offers. However, in the vicinity ( 15- 10 min by car) there were alternative breakfast places, some restaurants and a grocery store. Highly recommended for a 1st short hike or for a late afternoon trail run: the Oxtongue rapids.

The apartment was just as shown in the website, Jim was a great host and always available for any request. We loved our stay and will definitely return

The Finch Beach Resort er staðsett í North Bay, 200 metra frá Silver Beach Park, og býður upp á gistingu við ströndina og ýmsa aðstöðu, svo sem einkastrandsvæði. We loved staying here, the kitchen had everything you needed, toiletries are a nice touch, shower was great, bed was comfortable. There could be some more hooks for hanging stuff, like in the bathroom for towels etc. It was a 5 min walk to 2 good restaurants, we decided on takeaway from the Indian place. It was pretty good and it hit the spot after a day of XC-Skiing. I imagine it must be nice in summer being right the lake and having a patio with a bbq etc. There was a lot of attention to detail and extras for you if you didn't bring your own, like coffee, popcorn etc. Sauna is an added bonus, you just need to let it really warm up since it was -25 out that night. Would stay here again if Im ever back in north bay.

It was a great time and I really enjoyed my stay there. Everything was very neat and clean! It's beautiful mountain view!! I would definitely come back again!

The Trace at Oak Lake (19+) í Havelock er gistirými sem er aðeins fyrir fullorðna. Boðið er upp á líkamsræktarstöð, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd. the whole resort is a gem. i would like to go back more often to this resort. such a nice location and the host were to nice and friendly. the upgraded our stay without extra charges and provided us with so many amenities free of charge. there were boats kayaks canoes and even motor boats. they had so many board games , badminton basketball and even table tennis. the game room was so well stocked i was shocked to see so much. the view and location of the resort was super nice. if u are a dog owner this is a really nice place ti take your furry babies. the host allowed the dogs to go off leash and explore the area. definitely a must visit every summer and a place to always go back.
