Peaceful hotel nicely located between 2 beautiful beaches that are completely different feels than usual sri Lankan pretty crowded beaches. Staff is really nice and helpful, massages are amazing, pool is clean as it’s everything. Truly recommend this place you won’t regret it.

The moment I stepped into Malabar Hill Hotel, I felt an overwhelming sense of serenity. Nestled amidst nature, it’s the perfect place for those seeking a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle. The spacious rooms exude warmth, and each is spotlessly clean, offering cozy comforts that make you feel right at home. But what took my breath away was the balcony view. Imagine waking up to the chirping of birds, an expansive forest that stretches as far as the eye can see, with the azure sky above and a tantalizing glimpse of the ocean in the distance. And the pool? Simply a dreamy oasis. At their restaurant, each dish is a culinary masterpiece, with flavors so authentic, you can taste the richness of every spice. A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! Haritha Villas +. Spaen ligger på en bakke omgivet af træer under 1 km fra Narigama-stranden og 1,2 km fra Hikkaduwa-stranden. If “heaven on earth” would be a place, it would be called Haritha Villas. Having stayed in some of the worlds best Hotels and Resorts around the globe, this might have been one of the best. This Hotel is the perfect place if you want to escape from all the daily routine and stress. A small oasis of well-being with breathtaking views of the Sri Lankan Jungle. The Private Pool Villas are extremely beautiful and very private. There is absolutely no way for anyone to have a sneak peek into your accommodation. The Service including our private Villa Host: Tharanga, was the best we have experienced so far. From planning the most spectacular excursions to giving tips and tricks around the Island, there was no wish left to fulfill. All matters are given an open ear and are immediately implemented. Moreover you do not feel like a customer at Haritha but rather like family. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are all served a-la cart and are of highest quality and standards. If you are looking for fine michelin style food, or simple feel good “soulfood” you will definitely be very happy with all the options they provide you with. No request is left unfulfilled! The General Manager Umby is one of the kindest people we have met, making you feel straight at home and understanding your every need. If you feel the need to go to the beach, the Hotel features a complimentary 1min tuktuk ride to a luxurious partner Hotel that they have arrangements with, so that you can enjoy a fabulous beach if you wish. The only negative part of our stay, was that we did not book the property for a longer period of time and having to leave! Weligama Temple Tree ligger i Weligama og har have og gratis WiFi. Samtlige værelser har eget badeværelse. Værelserne har også terrasse. Værelserne på resortet har opholdsområde. The host is exceptionally good. He supported us in all queries and plans we had. The room is very big and has everything one can wish. The host even has a generator to cover power outages. The breakfast. This is something else. You know these fancy restaurants where you order a menu with 5 courses and every course is something interesting you have never heard before? So, breakfast at Temple Tree is a Sri Lankas version of that. Every day we got served something new and so much that we even packed it for lunch.

Great hotel, nice restaurant (can add some more variation to the menu, but the dishes are good), first line to the beach, great surf break right next to hotel. Rooms are nice, well decorated, clean, with comfortable beds and great balconies. Nice infinity pool, beautiful restaurant area with nice sunsets.

Hiru Resort Inn Unawatuna ligger 300 m fra Unawatuna Strand og 1,7 km fra Rumassala South Beach i Unawatuna. Der tilbydes indkvartering med opholdsområde. The place was very clean and well maintained. It was located around 10min walk from the beach, in a jungle. The only problem was very bad reception and super slow WiFi, but if you sat closer to the router it worked well. The typical breakfast of eggs, toast and fruits was included. The hosts were amazing, they upgraded our room without additional payment. What is more, they helped me when I needed charger after mine broke.

This property is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Few people were here; it feels like a home. Jay, the one who looks after the place, is very helpful, and he always oversees the place. He told us we can cook in the upstairs kitchen. The three-room apartment feels like home too. Since one room was booked, we got one from there and two rooms next to the pool. The calm and relaxing atmosphere, paired with the breathtaking landscaping, make it a truly special place.
