The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! Very clean and spacious rooms with everything you need. Everything is brand new and well-thought with little details in the rooms from design to toiletries. Perfect location to explore southern coast line and rest with the sound of ocean waves after a long day of exploring. David and Gau are perfect hosts. Staff is very helpful, they arrange whatever you need/ask. Accepts credits cards (important in Sri Lanka) Has very satisfying breakfast.

Located in Weligama, Weligama Temple Tree has a garden and free WiFi. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The rooms also have a terrace. Guest rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area. The host is exceptionally good. He supported us in all queries and plans we had. The room is very big and has everything one can wish. The host even has a generator to cover power outages. The breakfast. This is something else. You know these fancy restaurants where you order a menu with 5 courses and every course is something interesting you have never heard before? So, breakfast at Temple Tree is a Sri Lankas version of that. Every day we got served something new and so much that we even packed it for lunch.

Situated in the Mirissa Beach district in Mirissa, 500 metres from Whale Watching Mirissa, Resort of Happiness features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property and views of... The beach and the main road were near the property. The beach restaurants were available at night by 10 minutes walking. It was about 30 minuets walk to coconut hill. The owner`s brother transmitted us to the bus stop by his tuktuk after checkout. We could see the small turtles in the beach. The room was very big and spacious.

This incredible property is one of the few to be situated right on the beach, with all the rooms overlooking the sea. Everything about this small hotel is wonderful! The swimming pool, also overlooking the ocean, has ample space to relax; and their restaurant has to be the best in the area. Everything we ate was delicious! We stayed for 4 nights and could happily have stayed longer. There is a natural tidal pool within easy walk and I had at least one turtle join me every time I swam there. My husband surfed right outside! No need for jumping into a tuk tuk to search for waves. Jamu surf hostel is just 2 roads away where daily drop in yoga classes are offered. Oh and best of all…the staff! So very friendly and helpful! All in all, a phenomenal stay!

Set just a few short steps from the popular Mirissa Beach, Latheena Resort features clean and comfortable guestrooms. The family owned restaurant is excellent, great service and prices.

You can go for a swim in the gorgeous waterfall by the property. The couple who run it are so nice and friendly. I did the rainforest tour organized through the owner and it was such a good tour, the guide was amazing. Food was delicious and the room and bathroom were so clean!

The owner of this place is the nicest guy. The commute to the beach area is not complicated or long at all. It's not a drudgery because you constantly enjoy peacocks, storks and other promiscuous animals around. The owner can help you rent a scooter and you can park it under the canopy. This place helps you to unfold the true unimaginable vacation in Sri Lanka, and I will remember it vividly.
