The place is so welcoming, even the cat named Tuxedo, rests on top of me while i was relaxing on the hammock. He makes me feel at home.

The owner/manager is very friendly and nice he will go above and beyond for helping and making you happy! The Bungalow is silent at night and clean. I would also suggest their laundry service which was made properly for a good price. If you don’t mind stay Little far from town this is the best place to be!

Worked with us from check-in to check-out to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast buffet was incredible with numerous options of both local and international dishes. We liked the pool bar Happy Hour and lunch menu. Great for families. Also, the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The shower was hot and we had everything we needed. We had two adjoining rooms which was very convenient for our family.

Sepilok Forest Edge Resort is a nature retreat in Sandakan, a 15-minute walk from the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Wow, this was just the best place to stay. The resort was comfortable and the food was very good. We walked to see the orangutans and the Discovery center. The front desk was excellent to arrange our tour to the proboscis monkeys and to the airport. You ask and they deliver. As birders, the grounds are exceptional for birding. We saw so many just off of our balcony. We had hot water and the secret is to just turn on the water until you hear the water heater engage. Worked perfect for us.
