Loved the resort. Staff were super accommodating, met by manager at check-in, we were able to also check in by 10 a.m. which was a bonus. It was so peaceful and quiet you could hear a pin drop. We stayed at the property in July and were worried it would be too hot, however were pleasantly surprised as the decking area is shaded. All meals can be served in room too. If you want to switch off from it all then this is your place.

Overall, I had a great experience at (Al Maha); staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The suite was wonderful, clean, and perfectly located with our own private pool ..Ariel was very helpful and helpful with a great sense of service… Definitely will visit again

The Lunch dinner was not so amazing but the dinner more better. Also is a pity that in the evening there is not a small musical entertainment at the bar, like Arabic oud guitar and traditional Arabic flute. You can also plan a campfire at night in the oasis in front of the hotel or plan a roast lamb on a spit but a very good team

There’s really nothing to not like.

Everything about this place and experience was perfect. Everyone in the staff was lovely. Our guest relation manager Roshan was very helpful and friendly and gave us a complimentary cake and sweet personalized card for our anniversary celebration. The food at the restaurant was exceptional for all meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the staff at the restaurant were all lovely and helped us made the best choices. Also, the private pool is temperature controlled which is a perfect thing to enjoy the resort in both summer and winter. Seeing gazelles and oryxes all over the resort is also a big big plus!!

The property was build in 1999, so it’s quite dated. I think it needs some renovation. Overpriced for what you get.

Food could be much better (quality medium for the price) A lot of drinks/softs and plates not included in the full pension package. Service customers: not at the level of a five stars. Examples: Asked advice for a bottle of red wine between 12-13 degrees and they send us a bottle at 14 degrees… Being in the Dune Diner impossible to change. Then during the pick up transfer, they didn’t give my phone number at the driver, so he couldn’t find me immediately and we waited for each other 30-40 minutes. Shop at the entrance: opening hours not indicated, so when I wanted to go there for my last day, it was closed and I could not buy souvenirs before leaving because the staff of the hotel can’t have access when the owner boutique is absent. Activities: could be improved a lot (Nature walk great, Widlife drive very disappointing, Camel trek not enough privacy, too much people)

the staff lied by telling us the tent is in a good location how ever they put us in the back one and was blind with trees, also as we checked it late at 6:30PM they didn’t give us a chance for late checkout perhaps they made us leave early. we were not treated like 5 stars and regular guests of the marriot.

Some of the activities were fully booked. They have not given us an opportunity to book in advance by check in. When you pay 2500 euro's per night, this is not acceptable. You need to have enough availability. So that was for us a big no no and ruined our stay.

It is a nice location. The food in the morning and evening is good. The lunch is not of the same standard. Personal is very kind and good trained. I had a massage from Leo at the spa and it was wonderful. He was very skilled. So we come back
