Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe staff in the restaurant were a little slow in responding to requests.
The room was lovely. The food was excellent and the swimming pools were great. The location was ideal.

United Arab EmiratesThe food prices are really high. The food options are not international. There are few options for kids. Also, the outdoor infinity pool is too deep for someone of normal height (5'6") was on tippy toe. Aside from the steps area, there aren't many places to relax in the pool. Definitely not for children.
The indoor pool is amazing. not too deep, nor too shallow. The lazy river is enjoyable for the kids.

United KingdomThe only negative is the check out process is a bit odd, you have to wait 5 - 10 mins once you have handed back the keys before they then complete the checkout. I believe it’s to check for product use etc but other hotels do this more efficiently. Despite this, the hotel was incredible and I’d still recommend them!
Good breakfast with very attentive staff and an overall fantastic place to stay in Dubai. Would recommend to others and will be back.

IrelandIt's a 5* due to location but it's more like a 4* in terms of service and facilities. However, this is reflected in the price of the hotel rooms. This hotel is being used by a UK package travel company and so there are a certain amount of holidayers that are there on a half board type basis and there are themed nights (we didn't attend any but if you wanted you could pay approximately €48 per person for a buffet meal). The mini bar is vastly overpriced, at €12 appx for a small can of Pringles. We were surprised that some of the guests were walking around with a lot of body parts on show at breakfast and in the lobby. This is more of a respect thing from guests than a hotel issue but it brings the tone down a bit and it is still in UAE so would have thought it would be respectful to be at least covering the essentials. Overall, an affordable place to stay in Dubai.
Breakfast options were amazing, not limited to one type of cuisine. Lovely views from the pool and private beach. Very comfortable room and bed. Hotel is very clean. Location is very convenient and Nakheel Mall is a 5 minute walk away. Security staff were absolutely excellent as were reception and staff in Dukes Bar and at breakfast.

United KingdomBreakfast was too busy. I’ve never been to a hotel and especially a 5* hotel and had to queue for breakfast
Facilities were great and hotel was very good value for money. Security were really helpful. We stayed during the storm and they advised us where and where not to go, helped with taxis etc.

United KingdomThe only negative is that sun lounger cushions and the pool/beach towels are very tired and worn.
Breakfast, lunches and evening meals were all great quality, tasty and varied. Staff were all friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. Hotel is in a great location and has lovely views from the beach and pool area. Would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomDue to it being a public holiday the hotel was very busy which meant it was very hard to get a lounger at the pool as the hotel allows day guests without considering the impact on hotel guests

Great location, delicious food, spacious rooms with balconys, friendly staff especially waiters in GBR and reception operators. Helpful housekeeping who never turned down any of my requests for extra water or tea bags. The ambience and food at Ula beach bar and restaurant are exceptional.

IrelandIf I was to nit pick , I feel that the Khyber wasn’t as good as on previous visits but this could well be due to our choice of dishes. The gym could have a greater selection of heavier dumbbells.
The attention to detail of the staff especially the way in which they went the extra mile to be friendly and helpful. This was across the board from room service to reception, restaurant baggage, doormen and those helping to get taxis. The upstairs bar is such a great place to relax.

United KingdomLots of kids, which we don't mind at all, but didn't expect. Isn't clear how to walk and explore the local area (palm beach) TV in room doesn't have too many UK/US channels
Outside pool and Ula beach club was very nice with incredible views. Options for breakfast were fresh and wide-ranging. Venture out down palm beach for a walk, which was stunning

HungarySofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. We were 4 of us but we had got only 2 towels. When I asked for 2 more towels, they were disappeared after cleaning the room on the next day, so I had to ask for 2 more towels again :)
Great location, nice staff, clean rooms and areas. Breakfast and dinner were great, however, lots of dishes were the same every day. In room dining is perfect. Recommended accommodation.

United KingdomLifts to floor 16 were very slow. Cleaning of room was sometimes a bit erratic with towels missing. When it was windy we couldn't use the parasols on the beach although allowed by the pool....a bit odd!
Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. Evening meal was a bit hit and miss - during Ramadan we were asked to eat later and not always a great selection left. Overall the food was good. Bed was very comfy! Great view from our room of the Marina.

United KingdomBreakfast can be a little chaotic at busy times but we mainly ate outside and used the smaller buffet out there. There are condos next door that can have use of the pool area which I wasn’t aware of prior to our stay.
Lovely friendly staff who go the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Clean & comfortable rooms. Perfect stay for our first time in Dubai as we wanted to explore Dubai and this was good location to enable us to do that.
