Bathroom tubs were dirty and covered what looked to be mold. AC continently had to be adjusted. Loud flatmates at times in the early am who lived there full time .

Semi close to beach at JBR, social area was cleaned daily. Super comfy beds

If you are looking for a nice, clean hostel with good (working) facilities, this is the place to be. Good location in Marina, the Metrostation is easy to reach, nice social energy but not a party hostel. Staff is incredibly helpful, thank you guys for everything during my stays! I am definitely coming back.

Good location, good view. Great and clean kitchen as well as home office area. Staff was always friendly and helping where they could. Had some really nice conversations and made new friends in the common area. There were a big portion of longer-stay and regular guests. Wheras in Europe I was used to more vacation focussed guests in hostels. Although I was also staying there during off-season.

The lock on my luggage drawer in the dorm room was broken. It was the only broken lock. This was not really an issue for me as I was only staying one night and leaving in the morning, but could have been a problem if I needed to leave the luggage unattended, as I had valuables (laptop, etc) in my bags. All of the other locks were working, I think I just had bad luck- but I hope they fix that lock soon. No other complaints.

Dorms were clean and well-kept. Restrooms were also fairly clean. Kitchen was clean and easy to use. Wi-Fi service was very good. The person working there was very polite and friendly. TV was large. Lots of comfortable places to sit. Good balcony view. Good location right by the tram.

This is the best hostel you can find in Dubai Marina. Excellent location, wonderful view from the balcony and close to the tram station. The pillows are comfortable and clean and the bathrooms are clean. They have sufficient equipment in the kitchen. I booked the first time and extended the stay. I recommend it.

Very lovely stay at Grays Hostel. One of my best hostel experiences! Amjad is so attentive and easy going. Your fellow guests over there will be a merry mix of traveller's and workers locating to Dubai. The location is just perfect and the beds are confortable!

The building's swimming pool closed early, but I've spent most of the time swimming in the sea anyways.

First and foremost I would like to thank the awesome team: Amjad & Joanna, who were always there, if I needed anything or had any questions and truly made me feel almost like at home. Speaking about the venue, the hostel is situated at a convenient distance from the beach, has multiple bathrooms, so I didn’t have to wait for my turn to use the shower. The bedsheets are clean and are changed after each client, the blanket is warm, so the A/C keeps the air fresh in the room, but you don’t get cold. In addition, I’m used to going to the gym in the evenings, so imagine my delight, when I found out that there’s a gym available for the guests downstairs and a mixer to make a nice smoothie in the kitchen, with a water dispenser available to all guests as a complimentary! P.S the balcony has breathtaking views
