To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

United Arab EmiratesThey're a lot of stuffs (boxes & big plastics) near the elavator to our room and the loud noise coming from the other guests outside the hotel room who are always packing some stuffs even at night so we can't sleep well because of that. I hope they shouldn't allow their stuffs to just leave it outside because it almost look like a warehouse when you come out of the elevator. Other than that everything is fine.
The only thing I liked during our stay was the staffs. They're very nice and accommodating. They're quick to respond to our complaint and request.

UgandaI had free wifi and i was not having breakfast,i was buying it from out.What i needed in my room next time was a kettle and some teas or coffees.I some times wake up in the morning and want to make myself a cup of coffee. I will be back in april. I loved the location because it was just opposite an exchange beauro and the shops for shopping where just there,i didnt have to take the metro to go anywhere else,everything was a walking distance.
