Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Water in the Persian gulf wasn’t clean most of the time of our trip, green algae were in the water, but it was natural anomaly for this time of the year
Very nice hotel, good beach area with deck chairs and umbrellas. Free transfer to Dubai mall as an advantage

Friday night music was too loud. Maybe Not the Music itself but bass beats .
Super breakfast 😋 Very nice personal. Clean. Enough elevators. The supermarket shop in hotel very gut idea . Nice beach.

A lot of building work going on in the area, sometimes with a little noise. Not excessive though, just a slight niggle.
Great location, quiet private beach area, smaller than the cleverly shot promo pics but nice enough. The staff were all very helpful. Restaurant pricing pretty reasonable. Very handy free shuttle bus to Dubai Mall. The room was small and basic but clean and everything we needed.

It is not about not liking, but be ready that there is an ongoing construction around the hotel. However, it did not bother us at all.
- Awesome personnel! - Good food, kitchen is open until late night, which is very convenient. - The small market inside the hotel is a very good idea.

Soundproofing of the walls may not be ideal. There was one night when we could hear our neighbours very loud early in the morning I guess after a party - not such a drama, as our baby didn't wake up :) The beach and shore were dirty at times but I guess this could be due to the neighbouring construction sites. Didn't bother us at all, as we mainly spent our time at the pool.
This hotel is absolutely amazing! It has everything we could think of and even more - from a shuttle bus, complimentary sunscreen, gym, laundry and ironing self-service, easily accessible luggage room and changing / shower area very convenient especially after check-out, on-site supermarket and a great vibe! Since we were travelling back late night and with a small baby, the receptionist was kind enough to extend our stay by 2h and offered late check-out (standard in the hotel is 2pm which is also exceptional!) What I really liked as well was that the hotel would not let guests book sun beds at the pool or beach and would free them up after 30 minutes if not in use. The breakfasts are superb - very fresh and tasty, the choice is so big it can't get boring!

Dinner was a little on the disappointing side - too much of the Arabic menu versus catering for everyones palates Rooms were a little on the small side Unfortunately during my stay there was a lot of construction next door to the hotel - so very noisy from early morning till late at night
Breakfast was good - a lot to choose from. Very well stocked grocery shop on site to buy goodies to take to your room Beach was lovely Hotel shuttle available for transfers to Dubai Mail, Metrorail which was very helpful Very well situated hotel

Beautiful hotel directly on the beach, with amazing beach area - sunbeds with sun umbrellas, ping pong, volleyball and other games. The breakfast were one of the most amazing ones in our lives! Also if you stay for the dinner, you will be more than happy, with the chill-out and cool wibe and great food. Rooms are nice and clean, we had a see view room. We were also allowed to have a late check-out. The staff is really nice and kind. Another big advantage is the shuttle to the metro / dubai mall and burj khalifa for free! The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. There is also small supermarket directly in the hotel if you need anything. We were really surprised that this is only 3* hotel, but the great ratings says it all :) Thank you for everything!

Beds were okay but the pillows could have been better, we didn’t sleep that well, but other than this minor detail the hotel was great and I would definitely return
Excellent hotel in a great location for mall and Burj Khalifa and airport. The staff at the hotel worked hard to keep all the area exceptionally clean. Good selection of food for breakfast and from the A La Carte menu.

I was sharing and the twin beds where not comfortable very hard.
What a fantastic hotel - 4-star with 5-star feel. All the details are so cool. 24 hour grocery, laundry station, and 2 pm check out - really great
