To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Everything from start to finish was beyond exceptional and set a new standard the moment we stepped in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views were legendary and the poolside atmosphere is second to none. We were delighted to spend our honeymoon here.

United Arab EmiratesI would suggest having allocated beach beds for in-house guests, and the wet deck pool could use better maintenance and cleanliness.
I enjoyed from the moment of arrival with the bellboys who are super genuinely warm and start a great interaction with you that makes you feel so welcome, the check in process with Ahktar (sorry if it's miss spelled) which was super thorough and warm, Diana in the lobby with a warm smile and ready to help, the spa facilities were outstanding, but the massage from Jenny was trully the best I ever had, all details are taken in consideration from the comfort of the bed, linen, temperature, light and the skills and experience from Jenny to carry the treatment. Also, a great addition was the Davines line for room amenities.

AustraliaThere is not much I didn't like at all. Since I did come with a newborn it would have been nice to have more sound blockage from the party on the rooftop however it was still significantly blocked up due to the double-glazed doors to the balcony.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were really accommodating of special requests and never made it seem like it was a big deal or was troubling them. I have never received better service from a hotel than the W on the Palm.

United Kingdomthe adults only pool was way to small for the size of the hotel, it was also only 3ft deep all around so wasn't great to have a swim and very very small so people just stood there, the pool bar for some reason had no swim up stools which i would of expected in such a premium hotel, coffee machine was high up and not easy to put the pods in
Room great, one slight issue was the coffee machine, it was awkward to use were it was placed, could be moved to a easier area of the room, breakfast was awesome, location perfect

Saudi ArabiaI might’ve rushed and mentioned the pool part above. Anywho, it’s also kind of far away and needs better rainy days maintenance and adaptability.
Everything from the infrastructure, design, food, facilities and amazing staff. My only issue was very subjective and an honest personal opinion, which is the pool area/areas. I’m more into bigger more spacious and deeper pools rather than a bunch of shallow-ish ones with lots of sun beds and whatnot and one wet deck pool which I preferred rather to the other area.
