Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyYou can’t walk around the island, there are mangroves, so get prepared. Although you can catch a boat that can take you to the public beach. Watch out! There are animals (dogs and a nice couple of toucans). I love animals so to me was not a problem but it was a plus. But if you are the kind of person who thinks animals are dirty, well you have been warned.
In the beginning I was thinking the price was too high for a shared dorm… when you get there you get what you are paying, the place looks like a resort! The staff is amazing, super kind people, as well as the atmosphere. Drinks also are great! I am a backpacker, so during my travel I don’t usually go to expensive places, but I was attracted mainly by the plancton tour. I am glad I’ve been there. It’s a unique experience, one of the best I’ve ever had. They will provide you snorkeling masks and take you to see the shiny jellyfish! Trust me it’s totally worth it, I also did another plancton tour in Cartagena but there is no competition. To see good plancton with proper masks and snorkel, go to el embrujo. Mosquitoes have not been a problem during my stay.

Germanynice, small Spot out of the Track and Good to relax. their are beds at the sea and hammocks- Staff is Lovely and also lives there (only Spanish). vegeterian food was no problem. I also recommend to do snorkeling and Plankton. bring enough cash - as no card payment is possible. as the description says you are „stuck“ there as it‘s only accessible via the boat. be aware and bring something to read. the dorm is simple but ok, you sleep with open windows, with the breeze of the sea. two Staff member, one is the owner, also sleep there and a dog as well ;)

BelgiumOn the day of arrival, a party yacht arrived with an entire family, who played very loud music. They had lunch there, so we had to wait for lunch..Not very nice towards clients staying on the property since we had to wait until they left, and we really came for the tranquility. The room was okay but very simple, no luxury at all. This is okay, but this should be reflected in the rate (it was too high for the comfort).
The location was very nice and a few minutes by boat from the main pier of Isla Tintipan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice fluorent algae trip at night!

United States of AmericaThe bed was a bit too firm for me but it wouldn't be a reason to not come back.
The staff, starting with Hector were fantastic. The amazing chef Laurie cooked. The most amazing meals that included traditional Colombian to American to French! (The chicken cordon Bleu and arepas de juevos were to die for!!). I felt like a king with my queen and I highly recommend the plankton tour.

France- Price: very expensive for what it was - Service: Made us paid extra prices for the boat (we learned it was twice cheaper while talkibg to other people...), didnt explain us what we could do when arriving, lied to us on the hour of the boats so we could pay an extra lunch - Dormitory: We were sleeping with 4 person of the personal, a dog and a bird and sharing the bathroom with them - Food: Poor quality, small quantity and very expensive for what it was - Place: Noise of construction just near the hotel while you chill on the beach We are guides and felt quite disappointed for the price even though the caraibbean islands stay beautiful. Were money driven while we are usually very well welcomed in colombia.

NetherlandsBut there were some less great things otherwise it would be 5 stars. - we choose the dorm, which costs quite a lot but is pretty cold and windy. - there is a generator making a lot of noise in the night - there is 1 big kingsize bed where the host sleeps in the middle of the dorm, is a bit weird + one member of the crew also slept in the dorm - the 3 parrots walk around and demolish stuff (they bit some parts of my blouse, my girlfriends flipflops and another girls headband) - there was no sign with the tours and what they cost. (In my opinion for that money the boatrides to snorklingspots should be for free) - there was no menu with the costs for food and drinks (but they said that will be there soon, still write it down somewhere would be possible) - the second day we only got to choose for dinner between: arepas with some tuna / sandwich with tuna / cassedillas with cheese. Looked like there was no food for a proper meal? Bit unprofessional if you ask me. - the place is nice and clean but if you walk 100 meters there is a lot of trash washed a shore. Beachcleanup should be done one in a while. - the drinking water comes in plastic bags, not really environmental friendly, 20liter cans would be better and can be used several times.
Mixed feelings, some things were amazing, some things i didn’t like. First i’ll start with the positive things. -the snorkeling in the morning at 04:30 was magical, must do! With the plankton and jellyfish that light up. Beautiful! Big highlight. - beautiful sunrises - took the boat to a snorkelspot where we saw nice fish (reef was not spectacular) - the snorkelingtour in the afternoon to the mangroves was great, beautiful colors. - water refill is for free - the big beds at the sea to relax and sun are great! - the beds in the dorm were good.

BelgiumWorst experience ever. Run away! Staff wasn't honest. They ask us to pay in cash for extras that weren't part of the reservation, and when we asked for the receipt they didn't want to give it.... Food was horrible, while the staff, their friends and family where having better portions and meals than us. (It gave us an idea where our money was going...) We felt we were bothering them by our presence. We didn't feel welcome at all, staff was rude. Facilities are not maintained at all. Rooms were dirty.
The sea is incredible. We like leaving the place.

GermanyThe weather was not the best and the room has no condition in case of wind and rain! It was raining inside the room and my bed got completely wet an I got sick. In the end I decided to cancel my second night and I've been told that I will get the money back by the property manager but afterwards they changed their mind... The person who spoke with me in the chat asked me for my paypal account to send the money and never did it and now said that it is not possible. Apart from that the rooms was dirty and there was also rats inside.
The location of the property is beautiful.

FranceNot a lot to do on the island, you have to stay close to the hotel - the walk in 0.5 mile. Loud music on the afternoon. Depending on season, the coast is so windy you cannot really stay close to the sea. People could come for the day or afternoon and enjoy the place, that is really small. Construction place is not done.
Various meals are prepared every day with fresh products. Quiet and relaxing place Plancton tour is amazing Only 3 rooms, so not crowded.
