Staff not that helpful asked for heater for room twice never came cafe never open till late evening meal was horrible wouldn't eat in restaurant again check in was nitemare

A pool tournament on for the weekend so took a long time getting checked In .Housekeeper coming to door before 9am .Noisy guests in corridor at 08-00 (pool players ).Room not cleaned properly from last guests as we moved chest of drawers looking for electric sockets and a door pass and sweet wrappers lying on carpet.Not the best of stays but can understand being busy the staff were overwhelmed at check in .

An adult having to accompany a10 and 13 year old in the pool, Don't you realise when you go away adults need an hour or 2 of peace on there own or to catch up with work emails etc this rules ridiculous my daughters are stronger swimmers than me One of your competitors a few stops down don't have this rule so we'll be goin back there from now on

Where to start! They say you get what you pay for and while this place was cheap and therefore expectations low - this place is seriously failing. It took 2 hours to check in due to a huge methodist church convention which staff obviously knew about yet failed to man reception accordingly. They should have provided a separate checking desk for "all other guests" knowing how many people where arriving. My son is autistic and the 2 hours waiting was extremely difficult. The cleanliness was disappointing. Door handles were sticky and filthy, mirrors dusty, windows unclean and walls had graffiti. The evening entertainment for children and families was basically bingo and ABBA both nights, not something my 10 year old son could even relate to sadly so we didn't even bother. We'd looked forward to the use of the cinema and amusements arcade as an alternative but unfortunately these were closed during our stay. So the main things that attracted me to the hotel were basically mis sold. The room itself was hostel standard at best and needed a damn good deep clean. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to families.

The que waiting time to just check in was 1hour.45 mins , large grouse of 30+ should check in at separate function room Plus you need more pillows in the rooms 1 is not enough

Breakfast was good, did change our room when I asked as it wasn't cleaned n they advised it was, upgraded us n were really helpful, location was too far out for what we wanted

Price was a bit expensive. first night room next door seemed to be having a party into the early hours of the morning. Swimming pool facilities need a upgrade small changing room toilets stink pool looks in a poor condition and needs a urgent facelift Had to ask reception 3/4 times for extra pillows Room didn’t get cleaned while we was there. Restaurant opening times and closing times were ridiculous I arrived quite late on the Thursday and needed something to eat as I had been travelling all day only to find out that the restaurant closed at 19:30

Was very dirty on the outside misleading to the pictures Our room wasn’t cleaned properly had to be moved The people staying were all walking around with cans of beer and seemed rowdy

The staff were amazing and it seemed very family friendly When we had a problem with the room staff dealt with it straight away in a friendly manner

We stayed in room 212 it was facing the sea which was nice. But there was a not so pleasant smell coming from the bathroom sink.

While the Games Room was closed, one of the staff kindly let my grandson choose a film to watch in the cinema.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, all bedrooms should have free WIFI.

The room is a nice size but for 4 days only give us one towel and 2 face towels, for 3 people, the bed is good, and breakfast is very basic tin tomato instead of fresh, need to update the entrance door and clean the building standard, if you carry heavy need suitcase need somebody to help you. need to lift by yourself, The hotel is in a good location and has excellent staff. This hotel needs cleaning.

The entertainment stopped very earlier and kids were running riot, the entertainment should be till at least 11 everyone was so bored the room was not clean the bathroom wasn’t clean windows didn’t shut properly, I have 2 disabled sons who I’ve had to watch through the night to make sure they didn’t try to escape, also no sleep due to residents above up all night banging running round everywhere very unsettling for my children I had a long drive home tired.

Lovely hotel but is need of a refurb, I can imagine in its day it was a grand hotel. I did appreciate the old beauty of the place however my kids did not they thought it was old fashioned

The beds were so uncomfortable had no sleep. Rooms very basic could do with more cleaning, wasn't a hairdryer in the room nor an iron. Whole place needs updating.
