Our room was located on the fourth floor facing the street. The windows are simple without accustisque protection what allowed us to feel the night life of NYC... If you like to sleep in peace and quiet, choose a room on the upper floors or on the courtyard.

the hotel Gregorian is in a good location, near Empire State Building and Briant park, where (when the weather is fine) you can enjoy breakfast in a very pleasant setting. Beside of breakfast, there's plenty to eat and drink in the surrounding area. At least all the sights are within walking distance.

Depending on the day, it can be very pricey. The location is very convenient, but there are no extra amenities. Offering coffee to clients would be an excellent thought for management to consider.

This hotel has no facilities, its bedrooms only with a reception area, no bar or restaurant in the building although there are plenty on the street and this is reflected in the lower price than some other hotels. There are no tea / coffee making facilities in the room either but there was plenty of bottled water.

Great location - 1 min walk to Macys on 34th street. Hotel is very nice, everything in good condition and clean, bedroom was a good size with plenty of storage, beds were super comfortable! We would come back again.

Elevator wait time, very small bathroom - although adequate

Location, room large and comfortable Good price for what you get. They check all the boxes for us. Not too noisy - I mean this is central Manhattan after all.

Very nice central location for this hotel, perfect for first-timers looking to explore the city as much as possible. The King Room was large, modern and clean. We had a very nice view on the Empire State Building. The staff was extremely welcoming and efficient.

The elevator situation was more difficult than I expected. We were on the 10th floor, so there were a lot of stairs to climb or descend and we spent a lot of time waiting for the one slow elevator. Also, there was a door connecting our room to the one next door and sounds came right through as if we were sharing a suite. I had to call the front desk twice to complain about the noise next door waking us up.

The room was a good size, the location was excellent, and we had a view of the Empire State Building.

elevator seemed to be the issue, but they honestly tried to solve the problem and at least one elevator allways worked.

This hotel is super nice. Building is old, but it has a soul, it is nicely refurbished, clean, stylish and its right next to the Empire state building. Subway is right on the corner, plenty places to eat are nearby. Every day fresh bottles of water and kind stuff :)

There was only one elevator working for the whole week that we were there & we were on the 10th floor. It was fixed on our last day. Also, I had two cold showers!!

The room size was great for New York! The location was also fantastic but if noise keeps you awake, maybe not for you!

One of the lifts was not working so the wait was long and we were on the 12th floor.

One elevator was being renovated, which sometimes meant long waits - this is temporary though and will be fixed shortly - staff did inform about it on arrival. As with any central NYC hotels, rooms facing street will experience some noise and I came prepared with earplugs (none of these are points that would prevent me from staying again - would happily return).

Excellent location within walking distance of many attractions and transport links (two blocks to Penn station). Room was newly renovated and clean, bed was also very comfortable. Nice sized room (had a standard king room) for central NYC location.

Only one elevator was working and it was very small and slow, so getting around the building was tiresome. The sound travel between rooms was significant - we could clearly hear our neighbours conversations which wasn't great, especially at 3am!!

Great location, clean and comfortable. Could see the Empire States Building from our room. Really easy to access the sights of NYC and the transportation network. Friendly staff.

For the location and type of hotel we would have expected some form or tea or coffee facilities in the room. It's a small point but it's nice to relax in the evenings with a hot drink, especially after a day in the rain.

Great location, perfectly located for exploring Midtown and ideally located for the Empire State Building. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Pretty disappointed with the value you get for the price. Lacking attention to detail, very minimalistic amenities, nothing in the room (no coffee, no necessities), dirty and cheap windows, noisy, not too comfy beds. There are much better options in the area for a lower price.

The elevator was slow in coming, I think only one of them was working, but I used the stairs which is not a bother to me and I didn't have much luggage.

The room was simple but very comfortable. It was on a reasonalbly busy street with some traffic noise but nothing disturbing and there was no noise from elevator usage or other hotel guests.

No coffee makers in the rooms! What's up with that? I asked the front desk person about it and they looked at me like I had two heads. For the caliber of this hotel, I expected a coffee maker in the room and was very disappointed it wasn't there.

The location 1.5 blocks from the Herald Square subway station is a huge bonus. Penn Station is just another block past that, so it is easy to catch direct trains to almost anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn. There are also lots of dining options nearby, including fantastic BBQ in Koreatown.

The only thing about our stay was the elevators. The hotel is an old building there are approx 140 rooms 12 to each floor and 12 floors. There was only One very slow elevator working for the whole 5 days of our stay we were in the 9th floor and during peak times the wait for the elevator was extreme. We used the stairs to decend most days but the inconvenience of the elevator wait did impact our stay.

I loved the location. The room was amazing so clean and decorated beautifully and the bed was out of this world. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
