Great location and a short walk to Grand Central subway station. Gorgeous view, lots of space (unheard of in most hotels in NYC) and comfortable bed.

The housekeeping service left something undone each day- for example- one morning I returned to my room and the drawer to the garbage was sitting on the ground in the foyer, another morning they had put the garbage liners into the garbage but not opened them.

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed Luis at the front desk- he had great energy and was welcoming and incredibly helpful.

The publicity suggests that rooms have been "refreshed", our room definitely wasn't particularly the bathroom. The attached bar and restaurant was nice and the staff were friendly. Only downside was they ran out of tonic one night and still had none the following night either. I did give the manager "feedback" that this was disappointing.

The Midtown location meant that it was reasonably easy to walk to the sights. For example we didn't feel the need to use the subway but did use buses and ferries.

The temperature in the room was HOT. Was unable to control it. Was sent 2 fans. However, no one ever came to look at it nor fix it.

The room was very large and comfortable. Front desk Luis was great!! He's inviting and friendly. We needed to print tickets and we're able to.

New corporate ownership. Not the same vibe as in years past. Had to speak to a few staff before they allowed us to claim our nightly room credit for bottled water.

Good location.Rooms are bigger than average. Love that the windows in the rooms open. Very comfortable beds! Lucked out with a free parking spot right out front (Saturday night)

Some of the staff at the reception were neither friendly nor helpful. I also didnt like that check in was at 4pm and check out at 11am. That seems unreasonable to me and compromises value for money. Turned out its a way to make more money as they charge $100 for later checkout.

The room I booked was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lobby was nice too.

Room size for NYC was incredibly generous and comfortable - bigger than every other hotel I have stayed at. Staff were really friendly and helpful at all times, and perfect location for navigating the city. I can't rate my stay at the hotel any higher!

Location is brilliant, just down from Grand Central Station and in a pleasant neighbourhood with restaurants, cafes and bars. Within walking distance of Times Square and Broadway, Union Square. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Room was extremely comfortable. Would stay again

The sofa bed was pretty terrible to sleep on. The kitchenette was really only equipped for drinks - no cutlery or dishes.

The bathroom is in need of renovating as the sink was cracked and the shower floor looked a bit grotty. But to be fair, the hotel is undergoing renovations so I’m sure that’s on the list.

The doormen were so helpful and friendly. The location was great and the price was good for NYC.

Location was a little out of the way, but it is great for if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of NYC.

Spacious bathroom, daily housekeeping, safe area, and there was a luggage storage area to keep your bags in even once you have checked out. Loved this hotel and would definitely book it again.
