- Personally I don't like rainshower heads but there was no alternative to use a handheld showerhead instead - as I was told by the guy at the reception (I was fine with changing rooms). I struggled to adjust as a result taking a shower became an unpleasant experience. - Would have been happy with a much smaller bedroom and a bigger bathroom (more space around the sink) - Obviously this is Manhattan so as a result of getting a quiet room with windows outlooking the "patio", I felt that it was low in daylight - but I spent little time in the room anyway - Because of all this I felt it was too pricey (i am not familiar with hotel businesses, but as far as I am concerned, I don't need daily cleaning nor somebody to make my bed daily. Would appreciate having the option at the time of booking with an incidence on the price of course :)

- Great location with tons of options for eating outside, etc. - The staff was very helpful, at least the staff that helped us to call yellow taxis and with the luggages - I had a quiet room - There was ample space in my room: to sleep (the bed was big and could have accommodated 3 people :), to work (one morning I was to have meetings from the room without any problems) to hang clothes (I really appreciated having an iron and board as I came for a work meeting and needed very neatly pressed clothes) to chill (I like the armchair)

Our AC was broken and didn’t get repaired, so we had to transfer rooms. The process was simple but we had 2 nights in the hot room. The hotel only gave 2 pillows per bed. Other than that, it was a great property.

I enjoyed the location of the property. It was close to transportation and good, local restaurants. Staff was extremely nice. Room was clean and comfortable.

- Showerhead was damaged or something, the water was coming out uneven and changing the spray type did nothing - Some stains on the walls and the lamps

- Comfortable and clean bed - Decent view - Very nice and clean bathroom - Staff was very nice and helpful, cleaning was done very well - Good location, some good restaurants and delis in the area - Overall nothing too crazy, a good hotel for the price

The kitchen had no dishes or cutlery; you could hear a lot of noise from the street because the windows are not double-glazed, but I guess that's the price to pay for being in the city center; there were no blinds and at dawn there was a lot of light coming in; the cleaning sometimes started in the morning around 9.

Excellent location, clean facilities, spacious room, the staff was very nice; on the check out day we didn't have a flight until 10 pm and they kept our bags

I made the reservation thru bookings.com. Unfortunately both bookings.com and the sonesta charged my account for the room. So I ended up paying bank fees for overdrafts on my checking account. However the staff at Sonesta was very fast and helpful when I called to report the double charge.

Location of hotel was perfect for my needs. room was great and clean.
