Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe staff is amazing. Eddie was our bell man, door man and any man we needed him to be. He helped in any way we needed. The front desk was also extremely pleasant and helpful. They found me comedy tickets, boat cruises and offered to make dinner reservations if needed. They also would give us recommendations if needed. The bar staff were also friendly and helpful. The only thing that really bother me was 2 bagels and 2 cups of coffee cost me $40. The room was a bit small but hey it’s New York.

United States of AmericaWe had the best experiences at the Wall Street Hotel. When we arrived, the doorman David greeted us warmly and helped us to apply for a free extension until 1 pm right away when we mentioned our flight time. On the day of our departure, doorman Eddie also helped us check out and move our luggage out smoothly. It was truly a 10/10 experience that I have never experienced in other NYC hotels I stayed at before. Amenities are brand new, the bathroom was spacious. Enjoyed every single bit of our stay!

This was an awesome hotel stay. The staff was outstanding from checkin to checkout. The breakfast could have been more exceptional. I would rate the breakfast a 5 out of 10.

United KingdomEddie the doorman offers the most welcoming arrival. He is an asset to the hotel and goes out of his way to be helpful. The hotel is new and tastefully decorated, comfortable and well located. The staff are well trained and friendly. A great addition to NY’s hotel collection.

Czech RepublicI booked a room that was marked as Apartma deluxe 30m2, but I got probably the smallest room in New York, barely 15m2 for 2 adults and a daughter of 13 years, for a price of 533 USD per night. There wasn't room to open one piece of luggage, and we had four because we were traveling across America for 20 days. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that it was the room I had booked and no solution was offered to my complaints. Today I also found out that 10 USD was deducted from my deposit without explanation.

United KingdomI was double charged for drinks in the bar on exit and had to have this removed, I could easily have missed this and it was over $100 charge. It's a real bugbear of mine to be called Mr on all of the paperwork/emails etc when I'm a woman. I'd also noted our married name, which was not included on any correspondence. I asked for help making a reservation at a restaurant, this was dealt with very kindly but I was told a reservation wasn't possible, after calling (at great expense) the restaurant from the UK, we could in fact book a table easily. I also asked for balloons for my new husband's birthday (which were expensive at nearly £40 for five balloons), the hotel were very kind in arranging this but it came with the server and a note saying 'happy anniversary' (it was our honeymoon, which also wasn't recognised by the hotel, which is fine, but it was an incredibly important occasion for us so it's not nice to have it mixed up), it somewhat dampened the surprise. Whilst the room was a good size for NYC, the wardrobe was too small for us; I would also always prefer to have a pool as an amenity so would probably try somewhere else next time unfortunately.
Beautiful, clean room, comfortable bed, great toiletries and robes, fairly quiet for the central location, it was easy to get around, the Tin building nearby was great for coffee and snacks, the hotel bar was nice also.

United KingdomDid not sleep, crying baby all night next door - staff didn’t help and had to put up with it. Rooms are nice, but small and nothing special for the price. Service at breakfast was poor, had to wait an hour even after complaining as I was at risk of missing my flight. No Sleep and a bad breakfast for 700 quid!

LatviaThe hotel is not fit for human existence. The rooms are only equipped with air conditioning (no recuperation). This means that NO OXYGEN ENTERS THE ROOM. So without windows open, you are slowly suffocating. This is a massive problem - wasn't able to get any sleep for the first 4 days. Also, it's incredibly loud even with the windows closed. If you are even remotely sensitive to the air quality, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. It's incredible that anyone can live here for sustained periods of time.
The staff was excellent, Steven (front desk manager) in particular - extremely helpful, forthcoming. The beds were comfortable, the wifi was quite good, minibar selection also decent
