I could have been unlucky with my neighbours but it was very noisy at night, I could hear people in the corridor and music.

The breakfast and location were really great and the staff were super friendly. My room was comfy and it was lovely having a sea view.

Hotel could provide better instructions for things like parking, laundry or other features/amenities. A booklet or website with the info would prevent guests from constantly having to call the front desk with questions.

Great location, spacious rooms with all the amenities you need for a short or long stay. The multi-use building seemed safe and well designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable home base while exploring the city. Breakfast at Sonny and Irene was our favourite part!

Face recognition before check in !! Arrived later and tired at the correct parking with car .Offloaded luggage to get lift for chk in at reception . Noways to get into premises ,door extremely unfriendly msgs , NOBODY answering cell phone no sent to my mobile !! How is a Guest,with car , supposed to check in ?? You could be using that TECH SYSTEM ,so much better ,with friendly ,intuitive msgs and also URGENT connection to reception desk !

Loved my stay! Staff were great. One day, the face recognition didn't work, so that was the only minor snag and quickly fixed. The pool area is quite small, but a good view. Wooden wide uncomfortable chaises... so not really a comfortable rooftop, more like a perch and enjoy the view (very windy). The breakfast provided in the restaurant downstairs is amazing! The staff so friendly, service impeccable. I ate dinner at The Nines one night ($$$ and fancy, view not as fabulous as I expected, but food delish) and at the hotel restaurant one night (delicious and 1/5 of the price of The Nines). The multi-purposes rooms on each floor were an unexpected bonus! The business suites and the yoga suites were perfect.

The view from some rooms is not great and it can be noisy on weekend evenings but in a manageable way.

Truly a home away from home. The handwritten welcome note is such a lovely gesture. The rooms are spacious with good facilities and amenities. The location is excellent with a very short walk to the promenade. I have stayed here twice and will certainly be back.

The pool area on the roof is great with stunning views but the concrete 'sun loungers' could be made a lot more comfortable.

So happy to have found this hotel. It feels very new but yet the staff know what they are doing. The location is excellent in Sea Point so you can walk to the beach and Ubers are readily available to bring you into CBD. The rooms and bathroom are large and comfortable with a large balcony. The cafe restaurant downstairs where breakfast is served is unlike any hotel breakfast I've had in that it is run separately to the hotel but you are allocated 300 rand per room to spend daily which is more than enough to have a delicious (and large) breakfast/brunch with a brilliant offering of juices/coffees etc. There is also a salon on the ground floor where we got our hair done (great value) and a stunning rooftop restaurant/bar where we only had cocktails (fantastic) but which was constantly buzzy and the food looked great. The staff throughout are exceptionally friendly and helpful! I wouldn't hesitate in going back here.

Sometimes there was the smell of weed in the lobby but this is to be expected as it is legal in private property and the hotel shares its common spaces with private apartments.

The breakfast allowance at the adjoining cafe was substantial. The facilities were great (gym, pool, braai area) and were kept clean.
