The owner gives you lots of information and takes personally great care of you, is more than just fiendly. I have made a little too much shopping in Japan and he helped me carry my luggages with a cart for 15 minutes to the far end of the train station.

It was amazing. My stay was very short, hopefully next time longer. Location in the middle of Asakusa area, everything is ongoing around. Public bath, is private and you can book it for free, very nice. Room was spacious, and had kind of living room as well + in my case private bathroom. People who are working there were so nice and taking care, offering me use their free facilities, checking if I woke up in the morning, in order to not miss my flight. Thank you! ありがとうございます

Old japanese ryokan tatami floors/futon beds hotel in the heart of one of the most insane pulsing red light districts of the world? Im totally here for it! Location is perfect for Shinkuju/Kabukicho nights (~12min walk from the station, Godzilla and KingKong just behind the corner). It was really unexchangeable experience, for VERY good money, taking into consideration the exquisite location

It is so convenient to stay here when you only have a short time in Tokyo. The onsen is great. I've stayed in the tatami family room a couple of times and it had a nice feeling. Being essentially in the same building as the airport, trains, monorail is just great.

The ryokan is centrally located in Ueno and convenient for the University of Tokyo. It's a ryokan, so you get a low futon and tatami mats on the floor. They also provide you with a yukata to wear indoors. The owners are lovely, and arranged a late check-in for me without any difficulty. It is excellent value for the price.

This ryokan is absolutely an excellent location where you can spend your time, truly understanding the Japanese culture. We're treated as friends or even family. The room was extremely clean, the onsen has a wonderful view to the Tokyo Sky Tree. The breakfats was a bit too strong for me (fish, vegetables and miso soup), still I appreciated it! I already miss this place and the guys! Thank you Taiga from Italy!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Ryokan. The staff (who we think were the owners) were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough and quiet and the futon were very comfortable. The location is also very close to both Sendagi subway (direct line to Harajuku) and Nippori station (easy to get to Narita airport and anywhere on the Yamanote line).
