This ryokan is a traditional ryokan right in the middle of the historical town. One of the staff even gave us a tour of the building explaining how it was over a hundred years ago. Best customer service and hospitality ever. The staff were super attentive and proactive towards our needs and all very friendly. Dinner was also fantastic. We enjoyed the family onsen and the free outdoor one too. The room was really spacious and there was a kotatsu too!

A 7-minute drive from Shin-Kurashiki Train Station, hotel Bingoya features a beautiful garden, traditional Japanese cuisine, and Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi and garden views. Bingoya is a wonderful traditional Ryokan and it was an amazing experience. Beautiful tatami mat rooms, shoji screens, sliding doors, hanging scroll alcoves, peaceful gardens with stone lanterns - perfect! Delicious breakfasts, which look gorgeous too. Lots of details in the buildings- inside and out, so it is lovely to contemplate your surroundings in one of a hundred different spots.
