The location is superb, next to a lush green jungle and only 5 minutes from the nicest beach. Yes, it's a bit far from downtown, but we made it work even without hiring a car. The rooms are beautiful and have nice terraces. The family running it is amazing. We also had an excellent breakfast every day. Can't imagine a better place to stay!

Set in Ishigaki Island in the Ishigaki Region, 200 metres from Kabira Bay, Joya features a sun terrace. Free private parking is available on site. The main attraction close to Joya is Kabira Bay. Apart frm that, it’s pretty far frm the other attractions. At night, it gets so dark in the area that you can get a clear view of the Milky way and catch the meteor showers! The hotel is super clean and I had alot of fun making the futon. The owner’s exceptionally helpful and helped me get familiar quickly:)

Situated 200 metres from Aharen Beach, 400 metres from Hijuishi Beach and 2 km from Tokashiku Beach, kamekamehouse offers accommodation set in Tokashiki. Wonderful guest house, tidy and spacious tatami room with ensuite. Quiet. Meals were prepared with care and thought, oishii! Pick up and drop off at the ferry much appreciated. Staff were so friendly and helpful, very welcoming. Walk to amazing beaches!

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of quiet street, Minshuku Irayoi is located in Ishigaki Island, 80 metres from Shiraho Beach. Simple guest house in a quiet village, just steps from a beach with gorgeous sunrises. The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

Located in Nakijin and only 400 metres from Teenu Beach, Shiawaseninaru Kourijima no Yado provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The pillows and the beds are very comfortable. The room has a very nice deco. And the carpark is just next to the room.
