Situated 300 metres from Nakama Beach, Umino Ryotei Okinawa Nakamasou offers 4-star accommodation in Onna and has a garden. Traditional Japanese Ryokan was beautiful inside and outside. The views from our room and onsen was stunning! The staff was amazing and so hospitable!!

Offering a garden and garden view, 435 is set in Ishigaki Island, 22 km from Kabira Bay and 26 km from Ishigaki Yaima Village. Shizuka was so nice, she made me feel at home and taught me so many things about the island. She shares a lot it was hard to leave.

The owners and family are beyond sweet and helpful. They even lended me a beach towel and shorts for me to go to the beach since I didn’t have any with me, and even let me do some groceries after picking me up from the bus stop! The sweetest hosts I’ve encountered on my travels! Highly recommend staying with them 🩷

Set in Ishigaki Island in the Ishigaki Region, 200 metres from Kabira Bay, Joya features a sun terrace. Free private parking is available on site. The main attraction close to Joya is Kabira Bay. Apart frm that, it’s pretty far frm the other attractions. At night, it gets so dark in the area that you can get a clear view of the Milky way and catch the meteor showers! The hotel is super clean and I had alot of fun making the futon. The owner’s exceptionally helpful and helped me get familiar quickly:)

Situated 200 metres from Aharen Beach, 400 metres from Hijuishi Beach and 2 km from Tokashiku Beach, kamekamehouse offers accommodation set in Tokashiki. The staff, in terms of customer service they were really helpful and offered us transportation to the beach. It is a place we would definitely recommend to anyone and try to return to ourselves as well.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of quiet street, Minshuku Irayoi is located in Ishigaki Island, 80 metres from Shiraho Beach. Simple guest house in a quiet village, just steps from a beach with gorgeous sunrises. The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

Located in Nakijin and only 400 metres from Teenu Beach, Shiawaseninaru Kourijima no Yado provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The pillows and the beds are very comfortable. The room has a very nice deco. And the carpark is just next to the room.
