El Takasagoya Ryokan está situado en Zao Onsen, a 1,3 km de la estación de esquí de Zao Onsen, y ofrece alojamiento a pie de pista y estacionamiento privado gratuito. The staff was very kind, as expected from a family owned ryokan. The bath area is small, but you schedule your personal bath time. Food is incredible, a must try when visiting Zao. Location is near the main attractions, like the cable car is reachable by walking. Lots of nearby onsens.

El Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya ofrece baños termales naturales y se encuentra a 15 minutos a pie de la estación JR de Tendo y a 50 km de Sendai. Es toda una experiencia, el trato es increíble y la cena y el desayuno son una auténtica delicia. Los onsen estaban muy bien, quizá es donde más flojea pero por lo demás todo es increible

El Tamonkan está situado en un edificio histórico de estilo japonés, rodeado de montañas sagradas y naturaleza virgen. Los huéspedes reciben té y aperitivos de bienvenida gratuitos. What a great find this place was. A very traditional Japanese guest house with ultra friendly and accommodating hosts. This property has been in their family for generations and they go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent and there was an English explanation for each dish served 😊. A big bonus is the short walk to the stairs to climb Mt Haguro. (Not that that makes the stairs any easier!) We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here!

El Miyamaso Takamiya está situado a 10 minutos a pie del teleférico de Zao Sky Cable y cuenta con 9 baños termales naturales. Everything is perfect! The amazing experience was starting from the transportation service. Then the check-in and dinner services, everything feels perfect! I can feel the staffs are all proud of this Hotel and its history and spirit. Thanks for Takamiya gave us such warm experience!

El Oyado Morinone ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y TV de pantalla plana en el distrito Kaminoyama Onsen de Kaminoyama. Hay estacionamiento privado gratuito y wifi gratis. This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff

El Tsukaya Ryokan es un alojamiento con una historia de más de 300 años. Todas las habitaciones cuentan con suelo de tatami (tejido de paja). Of all the hotels and ryokans I stayed at during my two weeks traveling Japan, the night at Tsukasaya Ryokan was by far my favorite. Mrs. Shoji personally came out and greeted me at my taxi. From that moment onward, I felt as if I was receiving an experience personalized just for me. After showing me to my room, Mrs. Shoji informed me of several local attractions (parks, shrines, temples, etc.) that were lovely to visit prior to returning for dinner. Every moment of the stay felt thoughtfully crafted and authentic. The food was delicious, containing many dishes that I had never before experienced. The onsen, while small and enclosed, was at just the right temperature and left my skin feeling the best it has in years. The design of the structure was charming and authentic (as best that a foreigner like myself can judge). The staff were friendly and accommodating.

El Hagurokan, situado entre montañas espirituales con una rica historia, ofrece habitaciones tradicionales de estilo japonés en un edificio histórico. We had a lovely stay at Hagurokan. Excellent Japanese hospitality- we felt very welcomed and cared for. The ryokan itself is beautiful, and the traditional meals were so good. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

El Meigetsuso se encuentra en un terreno de 10.000 m², a 10 minutos en auto de la estación de Onsen Kaminoyama. Magnificent stay in this charming ryokan. From the irori and lit torches greeting us at the entrance, to the sumptuous kaiseki meal and lovely onsen, everything was perfectly traditional and inspiring.

El Kansyokan se encuentra en Mogami y ofrece pileta exterior de temporada, bar, jardín y wifi gratis. Este ryokan de 4 estrellas ofrece room service y servicio de conserjería. This place was visited by the Emperors of Japan so definitely worth it to get expensive and get the suite, it was massive and able to fit 7 people. Definitely worth if travelling in groups. Also the hotelier is very very very helpful. He helped us to plan our day itinerary and arrange drivers for us. Very accomodating and staff is very very very helpful. Breakfast is included and the facilities is amazing.
