Berlokasi di Zao Onsen, 2 menit jalan kaki dari Resor Ski Zao Hotsprings, Takasagoya Ryokan menyediakan akomodasi dengan WiFi gratis dan parkir pribadi gratis. Family friendly (we were family of 6, 8 yo, 14 yo , 18 yo and 3 adults), the hosts/owner was very accommodating, kind and helpful. Room was clean, traditional tatami room, also kept clean every morning. The dinner and breakfast is a must have if you want to experience traditional, delicious, home cooked Japanese meal (locally sourced). Few mins walk from all the 3 public onsens which is very convenient, you get to try them for free too (the ryokan provides the coupons for you). The inhouse public onsen is also a great option, a few steps from the rooms. For those who ski/snowboard, it is also a few minute walk from the Ski resort (ski ticketing/renting area). You can buy lift tickets from the ryokan at a discounted rate as well They also assisted is in shipping (Takuhaibin) our 5 luggage of ski gears to our next destination.

Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya menawarkan pemandian air panas alami, 15 menit berjalan kaki dari Stasiun JR Tendo, 50 km dari Sendai. Our stay here was impressive, we had the deluxe family room, which was spacious and had a cozy Japanese vibe to it. The hotel staff was amazing and even though I changed our arrival day like 10 times and we arrived so late in the evening, dinner was prepared for us and we had a private traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Dikelilingi oleh pegunungan suci dan alam yang belum tersentuh, Tamonkan bertempat di sebuah bangunan bergaya Jepang yang bersejarah. Teh dan makanan ringan gratis disajikan untuk menyambut Anda. What a great find this place was. A very traditional Japanese guest house with ultra friendly and accommodating hosts. This property has been in their family for generations and they go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent and there was an English explanation for each dish served 😊. A big bonus is the short walk to the stairs to climb Mt Haguro. (Not that that makes the stairs any easier!) We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here!

Miyamaso Takamiya berjarak 10 menit jalan kaki dari lift udara Zao Sky Cable, dan memiliki 9 pemandian air panas alami untuk Anda nikmati. An exceptional and authentic experience. The food was delicious, the staff was so welcoming and professional. This place heals your body and soul. 12/10!! We will be back for sure, recommended!!!

Terletak di Kaminoyama, sejauh 17 km dari Resor Ski Zao Hotsprings dan 19 menit jalan kaki dari Stasiun Kaminoyama-Onsen, Oyado Morinone menawarkan akomodasi dengan taman, WiFi gratis di seluruh area... This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff

Tsukaya Ryokan adalah akomodasi dengan sejarah lebih dari 300 tahun. Semua kamar memiliki lantai tatami (anyaman jerami). Of all the hotels and ryokans I stayed at during my two weeks traveling Japan, the night at Tsukasaya Ryokan was by far my favorite. Mrs. Shoji personally came out and greeted me at my taxi. From that moment onward, I felt as if I was receiving an experience personalized just for me. After showing me to my room, Mrs. Shoji informed me of several local attractions (parks, shrines, temples, etc.) that were lovely to visit prior to returning for dinner. Every moment of the stay felt thoughtfully crafted and authentic. The food was delicious, containing many dishes that I had never before experienced. The onsen, while small and enclosed, was at just the right temperature and left my skin feeling the best it has in years. The design of the structure was charming and authentic (as best that a foreigner like myself can judge). The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Terletak di antara pegunungan spiritual dengan sejarah yang kaya, Hagurokan menawarkan kamar-kamar bergaya tradisional Jepang di sebuah bangunan bersejarah. We had a lovely stay at Hagurokan. Excellent Japanese hospitality- we felt very welcomed and cared for. The ryokan itself is beautiful, and the traditional meals were so good. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Meigetsuso yang dibangun di atas properti seluas 10.000 meter persegi ini berjarak 10 menit berkendara dari Stasiun Kaminoyama Onsen. Magnificent stay in this charming ryokan. From the irori and lit torches greeting us at the entrance, to the sumptuous kaiseki meal and lovely onsen, everything was perfectly traditional and inspiring.

Terletak di Mogami, 14 km dari Stasiun Shinjo, Kansyokan menawarkan akomodasi dengan kolam renang outdoor musiman, parkir pribadi gratis, taman, dan bar. We arrived late in the night for a 3 night stay. Loved, every, single, day. The breakfast buffet was a good opportunity to explore japanese cuisine with things being provided such as ochazuke, natto, assorted japanese dishes and plenty of options to choose from. We always look forward to dinner every night. Our server, Kamai was very patient and attentive to answer our curious questions and to explain every detail of each dish and ingredient we were being served. The onsen was very comfortable. Especially the outdoor onsen which was right next to the bed of snow from the snowfall. We also specifically chose a room with the private onsen. I especially enjoyed being about to get in a hot spring at will every morning and night aside from access to the public bath.
