It has a convenient location nearby the Taj Mahal East gate - within walking distance (20 mins in the morning, half pedestrian street). They have also send very helpful information about Agra/Delhi beforehand. Highly recommended

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Agra, is 7 km from Agra Cantonment Railway Station and 14 km from Agra Airport. The Taj Mahal is 2.7 km from the hotel, while Agra Fort is less than 5 km away. Some of the best and friendliest service I’ve ever received at a hotel. There were multiple persons who gave us consistent amazing service throughout our stay. Additionally, the breakfast spread was spectacular each day.

Boasting a garden, a terrace as well as a restaurant, HOTEL SHYAM PALACE INDIA AGRA is set in the centre of Agra, less than 1 km from Taj Mahal. This 2-star hotel offers an ATM and a tour desk. We received a very warm welcome and felt like home. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was clean, there was hot water and the backyard is a nice place to hang out or have some food/ tea. Laundry service was also fast and affordable. The Taj Mahal is only a 3-minute walk and there are nice restaurants close-by.

Ideally set in Agra, Hotel Marine House features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. This 3-star hotel offers a terrace. I assume the hotel was built recently. So the interior was still clean and tidy. But I mentioned below some parts that I observed that were not maintained well. And that if the management won't pay close attention to these details, and the staff doesn't work well, the hotel wouldn't look good in just a few months or a year. But, I do appreciate the staff that were so friendly and helpful. I just order the rest of my food from the hotel to keep safe from any food poison and I had no problem with food during a 1 week stay in Agra. The location is quiet and safe. There's a gym on the same street, just a few walk from the hotel, as well as 2 supermarkets located on the same building where the gym was. There's also ATM machine on the other side of the street as well. So location was really convenient for my stay. The rooftop will provide you a good view of sunrise early morning.

Real 4 star hotel, everything was great, staff was so kind, they helped us to buy train tickets, room was clean and nice, bed was very comfortable, food in the restaurant was delicious, air conditioning worked well, hot water and swimming pool

Offering free WiFi, Grand Mercure Agra is situated in the Taj Ganj district in Agra 1.9 km from The Taj Mahal. The rooms include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a safety deposit box.
