Last year we were on new York side and it was beautiful. Stayed In Portsmouth room it was beautiful and worth the money. This year we were on Canada side stayed at tower hotel room 3011. Beautiful room but small. Gasoline was 1.29 per liter in Ontario. Was a bit different than how we do things in USA. Overall, Niagara falls is beautiful on either side. Highly recommend the butterfly house and bird kingdom in Ontario!
London Ontario is a spectacular city Beautiful layout, easy to drive around from one side of the city to the other We spent there 5 days and wasn’t enough time to see it all. The city spread out very wide to make it looks like a village in the country witth lovely landscapes in some areas...
Hidden gem in Ontario. People are fun and friendly. Thanks for the great time Lot 88 for lunch or dinner a must. Hidden surprise The Lexington Inn. Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff and the best breakfast. Blueberry pancakes yum!!!
I love going over to Niagara Falls Ontario. So much to do even though if the weather isn’t the greatest sometimes. When it’s summer Clifton Hill is a great time!
Typical northern Ontario town, quiet at night. Could use a couple more sit down restaurants, could use some road work. There is plenty to do and see in the area.
Beautiful international city to visit when the weather is not too cold and windy. Great transit system. Feel safe. Seeing the performance of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir with the Olympic Gold team was the purpose and highlight of my two-day trip from the US. The visit of Casa Loma, Spadina Museum and Royal Ontario Museum made the trip even more interesting and memorable. Will definitely return to see more.
I am from northern Ontario where everything is easy to get to. So finding things and places with out turn by turn from gps is a challenge but a really nice place. Lots of greenery in the area for a suburban area. The walkway at road chains green is really nice
The air in Canada is less humid and everything seems clean. Everyone takes pride in their homes and businesses. It's a great place to get away to. Can see Toronto across lake a Ontario on a clear day. Is a nice drive along River road to Niagara falls.
Mississauga is a large Canadian city neighboring Toronto on Lake Ontario. On the lakefront, Port Credit has shops, a working lighthouse and a marina with a grounded freighter. Multi-use trails wind through the city's parks and woodlands. In the center, Mississauga Celebration Square hosts multicultural festivals and has a skating rink in winter. A popular shopping destination, the city has several huge malls. Square One Shopping Center (commonly referred to as Square One) is a shopping center located in Mississauga. It is the second largest shopping center in Canada, as well as the largest shopping center in Ontario, with over 2,200,000 square feet (200,000 m2) of retail space and more than 360 stores and services. Over 60 of the Fortune 500 companies base their Global or Canadian Head Offices in Mississauga. The city has many multicultural restaurants like Pakistani, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Middle eastern, Afghani and you name the food and I'm pretty sure that you'll find the food there. The city has a huge network of Public transport so its easy to navigate. Mississauga has plenty of Fully furnished residences for short term visitors. In short it always has something to do there doesn't matter which time of the year.
I was born in Hamilton and have lots of family in Toronto and surrounding areas. Everyone in Mississauga, as in the rest of the area and Canada as a whole, is so nice, and friendly. People truly care about each other. Mississauga is beautiful, in the summer everything is so green and love the creeks, rivers and lakes found throughout Southern Ontario.
This hotel is a real pleasant surprise, a gem.. The room and bathroom was very comfortable and clean. The flat screen was sensational and large. The breakfast was full breakfast and tasty. Sarnia, first time ever there appears to be a great small city sitting at the head of Lake Huron. My son and I drove over to the water before crossing back into the USA and were taken by the greenish-ocean-like appearance - beautiful in mid-fall but surely stunning in the summer months. We will visit here again in returning to Sarnia, Ontario.
Excellent taste in furnishings and design. Welcome and reception exceptional along with the continental breakfast. In fact, I had messaged the hotel before arriving asking if there would be vegan options…they said yes but I was so so pleased that the selections far surpassed what I was expecting. Also, I recommend getting a room on the river-view side as it really added to the charm and hotel experience. We will definitely spread the word about this gem of a place to stay in a lovely little town in Ontario!
Location/view close to Niagara and view of Lake Ontario beautiful. The 2nd room was very nice. But we had to haggle w front desk people to get us out of the dumpy room we were put in first. This is after I spoke to manager over the phone and stressed my concerns over their reviews - he told me if you are not happy with your room I will make it right. Of course when we got there and had a dump of a room - he was not on duty…so I had to go back n forth w women at front desk - who are not so friendly…
Windsor
Great alternative to staying in Detroit. We came for the Detroit Lions game in America, but stayed at this hotel in Windsor, Ontario. Easy trip back-and-forth across the border. Convenient location to both countries. Wonderful staff, great price, very clean, nice room. We were on a Great Lakes road trip and this was the perfect stop to see like Erie in Ontario, before heading up to Bruce Peninsula to see Lake Huron, and then continuing on to Lake Ontario.
Nice big and clean rooms. Excellent location on the coast of Lake Ontario. Close to CN Tower or Ripley Aquarium (10 min walk). Breakfast was only possible a la carte, an alternative could be breakfast at a classic Tim Hortons (1 min walk to the left of the hotel) or Evviva Breakfast & Lunch (7 mins walk). The free bottle of water in the room was a pleasure. Very professional, friendly and helpful staff at the reception.
Waterloo
The location was on one of the best University campuses in Ontario, maybe Canada. The wi-fi was worked in mostly all buildings across the campus. There was plenty of nooks to sit and lounge or study, sip coffee and relax or get things done. Each building complex was unique to its discipline. A small lake and conservation area was within walking distance but there were bicycle trails everywhere.
Stratford
The location was extremely central. We were a 3 minute walk to the Avon Theatre and less than a 5 minute walk to Ontario Street. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable and the apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. We will come back if available and definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thanks for being a great host Carl!
very clean. the staff were very helpful and courteous. We were very happy that the hotel is pet friendly. The pool and sauna were great. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly. I salute them for helping out the hospital with their overflow of patients. Who knows where these patients would be. Our Ontario government is killing our care system.
Thunder Bay
Beautiful clean hostel, it felt very homely and loved. We arrived super late as we were on a long drive through Ontario, but our room was cozy and they left little chocolates and info about the hostel in our room. The bed was super comfy. We didn’t wake up on time for breakfast but one of the team put a pot of coffee on for us in the morning when we did wake up.
This is an excellent property. It is well located and the view of Lake Ontario, the CN Tower and the Rogers Center is outstanding. The apartment itself is new and stylish, and the appliances worked well. My family was very comfortable, and having a in-and-out parking spot next to key attractions was a huge bonus.)
We have a very relaxed stay in the hotel. All the facilities in our room are new, and we enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. There are quite a few restaurants nearby. And the hotel is near the southern shore of Lake Ontario. We have enjoyed morning and evening walk there.
Well located hotel with all the amenities. On main street, but tucked up against nice neighbourhood. Very comfortable room and bed, and very quiet. Breakfast the next day was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable, and less expensive than other stays in southern Ontario.
We were travelling from Texas to Ontario with 3 kids - we were looking for cost effective options but a clean comfortable stay. This hotel was exactly that - it’s not your 5 start hotel but it doesn’t pretend to be, it was cozy, clean, friendly and the breakfast was great for my kids. No complaints!
Good location off the highway but not loud at all. Clean and modern facilities a huge step up from most other Northern Ontario hotels. Staff friendly and helpful in all cases. Complimentary breakfast bag. Controllable AC in the room. Comfortable beds. Wifi fast enough to watch YouTube with no loading.
Location was everything. We were seeing a show near by, so we were walking distance to great restaurants and the theater. Breakfast comes in a little to-go box that you get from the lobby. Perfect idea when you're on your way out. Bed was super comfy. View was Lake Ontario
Very comfortable room. Full breakfast included. University based so workshop attendees were also staying, but not a university residence. Not your typical hotel environment either, so a nice compromise. Driving distance to the centre of town. Walking distance to Lake Ontario.
Amazing view of Niagara but sadly it was so foggy you sometimes couldn’t see it. Excellent location and near all amenities. The breakfast downstairs was good too except for the coffee but then again that’s mostly in Ontario (we’re Australians so we tend to be coffee snobs).
The Hotel staff is what truly stand out at this place. front desk, cleaning, restaurant. All so pleasant and always accommodating. I also really appreciate the parking structure. Not having to leave my vehicle out in the often nasty Ontario weather is a real nice bonus.
Hotel room was clean, pool area was great and the resteraunt in the hotel was amazing too ! It was close to the first ontario centre so we were able to get to our show promptly. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come back to this hotel in the future.
The room was excellent, very close to where we were going, walking distance to Firstontario Centre. Breakfast was great had everything we enjoy eating, (except chocolate milk). We did not need to worry about are car with the private parking. Very friendly staff.
