Residence Hotel Takayama Station is well situated in the center of Takayama, and provides a fitness center, free WiFi and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Location is excellent: right outside of Takayama station! There are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and you can walk to Takayama Old Town. They allowed us to use their natural hot spring at their other hotel, so you should definitely check it out! The room is big and beautiful with an excellent view. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

時のホテル is located in Toki, within 27 miles of Nagoya Station and 28 miles of Aeon Mall Atsuta. Everything was great. I'd absolutely stay here again and again. The staff was not fluent in English but they were very helpful and used a translating app to speak to us. The room was clean, breakfast was great, the sauna and hot springs (2 large bath tubs) were amazing as well. 5 Stars.

Super comfortable bed in spotlessly clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was absolutely sensational. Huge range of both Japanese and Western options, all of them delicious! Excellent value for 1500 yen. There's not much going on in Gifu, but we discovered a great eatery strip just a couple of streets away, which offered a welcome splash of colour and life. Highly recommend the chicken yakitori place! If we were staying longer in Gifu, we would have taken advantage of the hotel's bicycle hire option.

Exceptional views from just outside the building of Gifu mountains, and the rooms themselves are very well-equiped and comfy, considering the price! Also, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could check-in without a physical passport (as I didn't have it at the time), and helped me check-in just with a picture I had of it.

The breakfast spread is very good for the price. The breakfast room is also roomy compared to other business hotels. The cost of accommodation is very cheap considering the location. JR line users have to walk 10-11 minutes from the station but the hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Meitetsu Gifu station.
