In winter there is nothing to do there but you can just go inside the tower to take some photos of the town from above, grab a coffee, visit the gift shop that has a lot of interesting Shakespeare related things, of course.

We did the behind the scenes tour which was excellent.
We did the behind the scenes tour which was excellent. It was descriptive, telling us all about the history of the theatre but fun at the same time as we tried on wigs and noses, with lots of fake blood.

The food was great-- had a lunch and a breakfast on-site. Delicious. Loved the car park also. Was able to walk very comfortably to the Royal Shakespeare Company for dinner and a play. Walked the next day in to the town and enjoyed Stratford upon Avon. Will be back for sure! Great hotel, great town!
